1.Assam Health and Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma were unanimously elected the Badminton Association of India (BAI) President during its annual general body meeting in Goa.
गोव्यातील वार्षिक सर्वसाधारण सभेच्या दरम्यान आसाममधील आरोग्य व शिक्षण मंत्री हिमांता बिस्वा सरमा यांना भारताच्या बॅडमिंटन असोसिएशनचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून एकमताने निवडण्यात आले.

2. Jio Payments Bank commenced its banking services. Jio Payments Bank Limited has commenced operations as a payments bank with effect from April 3, 2018.
जिओ पेमेंट्स बँकेने आपली बँकिंग सेवा सुरू केली 3 एप्रिल 2018 पासून जिओ पेमेंट्स बँक लिमिटेडने पेमेंट बँकेच्या रूपाने कार्य सुरु केले आहे.

4. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin launched the construction of Turkey´s first nuclear power plant in the Mediterranean Mersin region.
तुर्कीचे अध्यक्ष रसेप तय्यिप एर्दोगान आणि रशियाचे अध्यक्ष व्लादिमिर पुतिन यांनी भूमध्यसागरीय मर्सिन प्रदेशात तुर्कीच्या पहिल्या आण्विक ऊर्जा प्रकल्पाचे बांधकाम सुरू केले.

5. Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar has Released ‘NIRF India Rankings 2018’ for Higher Education Institutions.
केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर यांनी ‘NIRF इंडिया रैंकिंग्स 2018’ साठी उच्च शैक्षणिक संस्थांची घोषणा केली आहे.

6. India has overtaken Japan to become the world’s second-largest producer of crude steel in February according to the Steel Users Federation of India (Sufi).
स्टील युजर्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (सूफी) च्या मते फेब्रुवारीमध्ये भारत कच्च्या स्टीलच्या उत्पादनात जपानला मागे टाकत जगातील दुसरा क्रमांकाचा देश बनला आहे.

8. The government will build 13,029 bunkers for individual households in five border districts in Jammu & Kashmir – Samba, Poonch, Jammu, Kathua and Rajouri.
जम्मू आणि काश्मीरमधील पाच सीमावर्ती जिल्ह्यांमध्ये साम्बा, पुंछ, जम्मू, कठुआ आणि राजौरीमधील वैयक्तिक घरांसाठी सरकार 13,029 बंकर्स उभारणार आहे.

9. Weightlifter P Gururaja opened India’s medal account in 2018 Commonwealth Games, claiming a silver in the men’s 56kg category.
