1. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the week-long 29th annual, world-famous International Yoga Festival (IYF) in Rishikesh’s Parmarth Niketan.
उत्तराखंडचे मुख्यमंत्री ट्रिव्हेंद्रसिंग रावत यांनी ऋषिकेशच्या परमार्थ निकेतन येथे आयोजित 29 व्या वार्षिक विश्वव्यापी आंतरराष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सवाचे (आयवायएफ) उद्घाटन केले.

2. Myanmar has indefinitely deferred signing agreement with India to streamline the free movement of people within 16 km along the open border between two countries.
म्यानमारने भारत आणि चीन यांच्यातील खुल्या सीमारेषेवर 16 किलोमीटरच्या आत लोक मुक्त चळवळीला गतिमान करण्यासाठी अनिश्चित कालावधीसाठी करार केला आहे.

3.  James Ivory has won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay at the 90th Academy awards for his work on the film “Call Me By Your Name”. At 89, Ivory is the oldest ever winner of an Academy award.
जेम्स आइवरीने ‘कॉल मी बाई युअर नेम’ या चित्रपटाच्या आपल्या कामासाठी 90 व्या अकादमी पुरस्कारासाठी सर्वोत्कृष्ट अनुकूलित पटकथाचा ऑस्कर जिंकला आहे. 89व्या वर्षी हा पुरस्कार जिंकणारे सर्वात वयस्कर विजेते ठरले.

4. The Indian media and entertainment sector revenues reached $22.7 billion in 2017, and are expected to cross $31 billion by 2020, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.6 percent
2017 साली भारतातील प्रसारमाध्यम आणि करमणूक क्षेत्राचे उत्पन्न 22.7 अब्ज डॉलरवर पोचले आणि 2020 पर्यंत ते 31 अब्ज डॉलरवर जाण्याची शक्यता आहे.

5. Japanese Self-Defense Forces Admiral Katsutoshi Kawano and Navy chief Admiral Sunil Lanba held talks on ways to boost bilateral defence cooperation.
जपानी सेफ-डिफेन्स फोर्स अॅडमिरल कत्सूतोशी क्वानो आणि नेव्ही चीफ ऍडमिरल सुनील लांबा यांनी द्विपक्षीय संरक्षण सहकार्य वृद्धिंगत करण्याच्या मार्गांवर चर्चा केली.

6. Out of 133 countries, India is ranked fourth on a global index for its military strength,  only the United States, Russia and China are ranked above India on the list, according to the latest report of the Global Firepower index 2017.
ग्लोबल फायरपॉवर इंडेक्स 2017 च्या ताज्या अहवालाप्रमाणे लष्करी शक्तीमध्ये भारत चौथ्या स्थानावर आहे. अमेरिका, रशिया आणि चीन हे भारतापेक्षा वरच्या स्थानावर आहेत.

7. India’s second largest IT services firm Infosys said it has granted 1.13 lakh restricted stock units (RSUs) to its new chief executive, Salil Parekh. In all, it has given 19.3 lakh RSUs to its senior executives and other employees. The date of grant for these stock incentives is February 27, 2018, and the exercise price will be the par value of shares.
भारतातील दुसऱ्या क्रमांकाची आयटी सेवा कंपनी इन्फोसिसने आपल्या नवीन मुख्य कार्यकारी सलील पारेख यांना 1.13 लाख मर्यादित स्टॉक युनिट (आरएसयू) मंजूर केल्या आहेत. यामध्ये 19.3 लाख आरएसयू आहेत ज्यांचे वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांनी व इतर कर्मचा-यांना दिले आहेत. या स्टॉक प्रेसिडन्ससाठी अनुदानाची तारीख 27 फेब्रुवारी 2018 आहे आणि व्यायाम किंमत समभागांच्या सममूल्य असेल.

9.  Manu Bhaker clinched a gold medal in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event while Ravi Kumar bagged a bronze at the ISSF World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico.
महिलांच्या 10 मीटर एअर पिस्तूल प्रकारात मनु भाकर हिने सुवर्णपदक पटकावले तर रवी कुमारने मेक्सिकोतील ग्वाडलहारा येथे ISSF वर्ल्डकपमध्ये कांस्य पटकावले.

10. The leg-spinner from Afghanistan, Rashid Khan (19-year-old) become the youngest captain in international cricket history. He now holds the ICC No. 1 rank for bowlers in both the ODIs and T20Is and also became the youngest player ever to hold the top spot for any form of ICC men’s ranking.
अफगाणिस्तानचा लेग स्पिनर रशीद खान (19 वर्षीय) आंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेटच्या इतिहासातील सर्वात तरुण कर्णधार ठरला. आयसीसीच्या एकदिवसीय आणि ट्वेन्टी -20 मधील गोलंदाजांसाठी त्यांनी आता आयसीसीच्या नंबर एकच्या रँकिंगमध्ये स्थान मिळविले आहे.
