1.The Centre, Maharashtra Government and the World Bank have signed a 420 million dollar project to help small and marginal farmers in the Marathwada and Vidarbha region of the state.
मराठवाडा व विदर्भातील लहान आणि किरकोळ शेतक-यांना मदत करण्यासाठी केंद्र सरकार, महाराष्ट्र सरकार आणि जागतिक बँकेने 420 दशलक्ष डॉलर्सचा प्रकल्प आखला आहे.

2. Chhattisgarh bagged the ‘State of the Year’ Award for its remarkable progress in business and services activities in various sectors of the state.

वेटलिफ्टर सतीश शिवलिंगम यांनी गोल्ड कोस्ट, ऑस्ट्रेलियात 21 व्या राष्ट्रकुल स्पर्धेत भारताला तिसरे सुवर्ण पदक जिंकून दिले.
