2. Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, presently High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Seychelles, has been appointed as the next ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia.

3. The National Green Tribunal slapped a fine of 500 Crore rupees on German auto major Volkswagen for damaging the environment using cheat device in its diesel cars in India.
भारतातील डिझेल कारांत फसवणूक उपकरण वापरुन पर्यावरण खराब करण्यासाठी नॅशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनलने जर्मन ऑटो फोर्स फोक्सवैगनवर 500 कोटी रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावला आहे.

4. Soumya Swaminathan, a Deputy Director-General of the World Health Organisation has been named Chief Scientist of the WHO.

5. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat appointed industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant as a member of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee.
उत्तराखंडचे मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत यांनी बद्रीनाथ केदारनाथ मंदिर समितीचे सदस्य म्हणून मुकेश अंबानी यांचे पुत्र अनंत यांना नियुक्त केले आहे.

6. Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Puri launched e-Dharti app where all the three modules- Conversion, Substitution and Mutation related to properties have been made online.

7. State Bank of India (SBI) and Hitachi Payment Services Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd, launched their merchant-acquiring joint venture, SBI Payment Services Pvt Ltd (SBIPSPL), for establishing a digital payments platform for India and other countries in the region, in Mumbai.
भारतातील स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडिया (एसबीआय) आणि हिताची पेमेंट सर्व्हिसेस प्रा.लि., हिताची लिमिटेडच्या पूर्ण मालकीच्या उपकंपनीने, भारतासाठी आणि इतरांसाठी डिजिटल पेमेंट प्लॅटफॉर्म स्थापित करण्यासाठी त्यांच्या व्यापारी-अधिग्रहण संयुक्त उद्यम एसबीआय पेमेंट सर्व्हिसेस प्रा. लि. (SBIPSPL) लॉंच केले आहे.

8. Singapore’s government’s investment arm GIC Pvt Ltd will subscribe to shares worth ₹5,000 crore as part of Airtel’s plans to raise ₹25,000 crore through rights issue. Singapore’s Singtel also committed to buying ₹3,750 crore worth Airtel stock.
सिंगापूरच्या सरकारची गुंतवणूक शाखा जीआयसी प्रा. लि. ने राईट इश्युद्वारे 25,000 कोटी रुपये वाढवण्याच्या एअरटेलच्या योजनेचा भाग म्हणून ₹ 5,000 कोटींच्या शेअर्सची सदस्यता घेईल. सिंगापूरच्या सिंगटेलने एअरटेल समभागाच्या 3,750 कोटी रुपयांची खरेदी करण्यासाठी वचनबद्ध केले.

9. The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a total penalty of Rs 10 crore on Bank of Baroda, Allahabad Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank and Canara Bank for non-compliance with directions and rules related to ‘Swift’.
स्विफ्टच्या नियमांचे आणि इतर निर्देशांचे पालन न केल्याने भारतीय रिजर्व बँकेने (आरबीआय) बँक ऑफ बडोदा, इलाहाबाद बँक, ICICI बँक, यस बँक आणि कॅनरा बँकवर 10 कोटींचा दंड ठोठावला आहे.
