1. The Election Commission of India (EC) on March 10 announced the schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Polling will be held in seven phases starting April 11 and will conclude on May 19.
Counting of votes will happen on May 23.The poll panel also announced the Assembly election schedule for four states.
निवडणूक आयोगाने (ईसी) 10 मार्च रोजी आगामी लोकसभा निवडणुकांसाठी वेळापत्रक जाहीर केले. मतदान 11 एप्रिलपासून सात टप्प्यात होणार असून 19 मे रोजी संपणार आहे तसेच 23 मे रोजी निकाल लागणार आहे. निवडणुकीच्या पॅनलने चार राज्यांकरिता विधानसभा निवडणुकांची घोषणा केली.

2. State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) has sanctioned loans worth Rs 689 crore to over 1,600 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
राज्य मालकीच्या पंजाब नॅशनल बॅंक (पीएनबी) ने 1,600 पेक्षा जास्त मायक्रो, स्मॉल आणि मिडिया एंटरप्रायझेस (एमएसएमई) यांना 689 कोटी रुपयांचे कर्ज मंजूर केले आहे.

3. The Jammu and Kashmir Governor administration has approved the appointment of “Metro Man” E Sreedharan as the principal advisor to two mass rapid transit systems to be built in Jammu and Srinagar.
जम्मू-काश्मीर राज्यपाल प्रशासनाने “मेट्रो मॅन” ई श्रीधरन यांना जम्मू आणि श्रीनगरमध्ये बनविल्या जाणार्या दोन वस्तुमान द्रुत ट्रान्झिट सिस्टमचे मुख्य सल्लागार म्हणून नियुक्तीस मान्यता दिली आहे.

4. Senior bureaucrats Anup Kumar Dubey and Sushil Kumar were appointed special directors in the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

5. An MoU was signed between Indian Railways and public sector telecom firm RailTel for implementing the e-office system aimed at digitising the work of the national transporter.
भारतीय रेल्वे आणि सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील टेलिकॉम कंपनी रेलटेल यांच्यात राष्ट्रीय ट्रांसपोर्टरच्या कामाचे डिजिटलीकरण करण्याच्या हेतूने ई-ऑफिस सिस्टम लागू करण्यासाठी सामंजस करारावर स्वाक्षरी करण्यात आली.

6. A 116-year-old Japanese woman, Kane Tanaka has been honoured as the world’s oldest living person by Guinness World Records.
116 वर्षीय जपानी स्त्री, केन तनाका यांना गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड्सने जगातील सर्वात वयोवृद्ध म्हणून सन्मानित केले आहे.

9. Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has won the First Prize in the category of TV Cinema Spot at the prestigious International Golden City Gate Tourism Awards 2019.
