1. The 33rd edition of the ASEAN Summit begun in Singapore. Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong is the Chairman of the Summit, which will continue till 15th November along with other related summits like East Asia Summit (EAS), Regional Comprehensive Economic Summit, (RCEP) and ASEAN plus summits.

2. Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) gave nod to Tamil Nadu for launching its State Shelter Fund for attracting investments in the affordable housing segment.
सिक्युरिटीज अँड एक्सचेंज बोर्ड ऑफ इंडिया (सेबी) ने स्वस्त गृहनिर्माण क्षेत्रातील गुंतवणूक आकर्षित करण्यासाठी तमिळनाडुला राज्य शेल्टर फंड सुरू करण्यासाठी मंजुरी दिली आहे.

3. The Union Cabinet gave its approval for leasing out six airports namely Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Mangaluru, Trivandrum, and Guwahati – for operating, managing and developing under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.

4. India Meteorological Department (IMD), Under the Ministry of Earth Sciences Government of India, officials said that the deep depression over the Bay of Bengal has intensified into Cyclone.

6. The Finance Ministry has altered the CPSE Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) and has included in the basket the four State-owned companies NTPC, SJVN, NLC and NBCC.

8. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar died at a private hospital in Bengaluru. He was 59.
केंद्रीय संसदीय कामकाज मंत्री अनंत कुमार यांचे बेंगलुरु येथील एका खाजगी रुग्णालयात निधन झाले. ते 59 वर्षांचे होते.
