2. Union Minister of HRD, Prakash Javadekar has inaugurated “Kala Utsav” (Festival of Arts) at New Delhi.
केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर यांनी नवी दिल्ली येथे “कला उत्सव” (कला महोत्सव)चे  उद्घाटन केले.

3. Creator of Indian TV show ‘CID’ Brijendra Pal Singh has been appointed as the new president of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Society and Chairman of Governing Council.
भारतीय टीव्ही शो ‘सीआयडी’ चे निर्माते ब्रिजेंद्र पाल सिंग यांना भारतीय चित्रपट आणि दूरदर्शन संस्था (एफटीआयआय) सोसायटीचे अध्यक्ष आणि गव्हर्निंग कौन्सिलचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्त करण्यात आले आहे.

4. The Asian Development Bank has retained India’s economic growth forecast at 7.3 per cent for the current fiscal and 7.6 per cent for 2019-20.
आशियाई विकास बँक (एडीबी) ने चालू आर्थिक वर्षामध्ये देशाचा आर्थिक वाढ दर 7.3 टक्के राहण्याचा अंदाज व्यक्त केला आहे. त्याचबरोबर 201 9 -20 मध्ये आर्थिक वाढ दर वाढली 7.6 टक्के राहण्याची अपेक्षा आहे.

5. Justice Tarun Agarwala, retired Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court, has been appointed as the presiding officer in the Securities Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai.
मेघालय उच्च न्यायालयाचे सेवानिवृत्त मुख्य न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ती तरुण अग्रवाल यांना सिक्युरिटीज अपीलीट ट्रिब्युनल, मुंबई येथे अध्यक्ष पदावर नियुक्त करण्यात आले आहे.

6. Mizo National Front (MNF) chief Zoramthanga will take oath as the chief minister of Mizoram.
मिझो नॅशनल फ्रंट (एमएनएफ) प्रमुख झोरमथंगा मिझोरामचे मुख्यमंत्री म्हणून शपथ घेतील.

7. Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Congress announced. He has served as the state’s Chief Minister twice, won from Sardarpura seat by defeating BJP candidate Shambhu Singh by a margin of over 40,000 votes. State Congress President Sachin Pilot has been selected as the state’s Deputy Chief Minister.
काँग्रेसचे वरिष्ठ नेते अशोक गेहलोत यांना राजस्थानचे मुख्यमंत्री म्हणून शपथ देण्यात येईल. त्यांनी दोनदा राज्यसभेचे मुख्यमंत्री म्हणून काम केले आहे. भाजपचे उमेदवार शंभू सिंग यांना 40,000 हून अधिक मतांनी पराभूत करून सरदारपुरा मतदारसंघातून विजय मिळविला आहे. राज्य काँग्रेसचे अध्यक्ष सचिन पायलट उपमुख्यमंत्री म्हणून निवडले आले आहेत.

8. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) allowed Bandhan Bank to open as many as 40 new branches, by the end of December releasing the restriction that RBI has put on the Bandhan bank’s branch opening spree three months back.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (आरबीआय) तीन महिन्यांपूर्वी बंधन बँकेच्या शाखा उघडण्याच्या जागेवर आरबीआयने ठेवलेल्या निर्बंधांना मागे घेतले आहे. डिसेंबरच्या अखेरीस बंधन बँक 40 नवीन शाखा उघडणार आहे.

9. India’s Manika Batra became the first Indian Table Tennis player to be decorated with the ‘Breakthrough Table Tennis Star’ award at the prestigious International Table Tennis Federation Star Awards in Incheon.
मनिका बत्रा इंचियोन मध्ये प्रतिष्ठित आंतरराष्ट्रीय टेबल टेनिस महासंघाच्या स्टार पुरस्कारांमध्ये ‘ब्रेकथ्रू टेबल टेनिस स्टार’ प्राप्त करणारी पहिली भारतीय खेळाडू ठरली आहे.
