1. Shri R K Singh, Minister of State (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India, on the occasion of 127th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar launched a number of initiatives for the welfare of the underprivileged.
भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या 127 व्या जयंती निमित्त, भारत सरकारच्या ऊर्जा आणि नवीन आणि नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा राज्य मंत्री श्री आर के सिंह यांनी वंचित वर्गाच्या कल्याणासाठी अनेक उपक्रम राबवले.

2. State-run Punjab National Bank (PNB) launched new products such as pre-approved credit card and UPI solution to mark its 124th foundation day.

3.Aiming to contribute towards the economic and sustainable development of communities, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed an MoU with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to provide skill training to 500 youth and women at Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu.
समाजाच्या आर्थिक आणि शाश्वत विकासास हातभार लावण्याच्या उद्देशाने, राष्ट्रीय कौशल्य विकास महामंडळ (एनएसडीसी) ने तामिळनाडूतील कुडनकुलम येथे 500 युवक आणि महिलांना कौशल्य प्रशिक्षण देण्यासाठी भारत अणुऊर्जा महामंडळ (एनपीसीआयएल) बरोबर एक सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

4. The World Bank has approved $55mn to expand the use of clean renewable energy in rural areas of Bangladesh where grid electricity cannot reach easily.
जागतिक बँकेने बांगलादेशातील ग्रामीण भागामध्ये स्वच्छ नूतनीकरणक्षम ऊर्जेचा वापर वाढवण्यासाठी $ 55 दशलक्ष मंजूर केले आहे, जेथे ग्रिड वीज सहजपणे पोहोचू शकत नाही.

5. Shuttler Saina Nehwal defeated world number three PV Sindhu in the first-ever all-Indian women’s singles final at the Commonwealth Games.
With this, Nehwal claimed her second Commonwealth Games singles gold medal after having won it at the 2010 Delhi Games. Nehwal is the only Indian female badminton player to win singles gold in Commonwealth Games history.
