1. Union Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu announced that the UAE and Saudi Arabia had decided to use India as a base to address their food security concerns.

2. Ashok Chawla, Former Finance Secretary, has resigned as chairman of The Energy Resources Institute (TERI).

3. Yes Bank, India’s fourth-largest private sector bank, announced the appointment of Brahm Dutt as non-executive part-time chairman up till July 4, 2020. He is currently also the chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
भारतातील चौथ्या क्रमांकाचा खाजगी क्षेत्रातील बँक यस बँक यांनी 4 जुलै 2020 पर्यंत ब्रह्म दत्त यांची नॉन-एक्झिक्युटिव्ह पार्ट-टाइम चेअरमन म्हणून नियुक्तीची घोषणा केली. सध्या ते नामनिर्देशन आणि पारिश्रमिक समितीचे अध्यक्षही आहेत.

8. Veteran director Buddhadeb Dasgupta has been conferred ‘Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement’ award for his contribution to Indian cinema by ‘West Bengal Film Journalist Association (WBFJA)’.
