1. President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the ‘Economic Democracy Conclave’ organised by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini at Thane, Maharashtra.
राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद यांनी ठाणे, महाराष्ट्र येथे रामभाऊ माल्गी प्रबोधिनी द्वारा आयोजित ‘इकॉनॉमिक डेमॉक्रसी कॉन्क्लेव्ह’चे उद्घाटन केले.

2. India and Israel signed nine agreements to boost cooperation in key areas, including cyber security, oil, gas and energy.
सायबर सुरक्षा, तेल, वायू आणि ऊर्जा यासारख्या महत्त्वाच्या क्षेत्रांमध्ये सहकार्य वाढवण्यासाठी भारत आणि इस्राईलने नऊ करार केले आहेत.

3. India and Sri Lanka have signed four agreements for collaboration in ICT sector, setting up of e-office system and connecting of National Knowledge Network (NKN) for collaboration among universities and academics.
भारत आणि श्रीलंका यांनी आयसीटी क्षेत्रातील सहकार्य , ई-ऑफीस प्रणालीची स्थापना , आणि नॅशनल नॉलेज नेटवर्कची (एनकेएन) कनेक्टिव्हिटीसाठी विद्यापीठे आणि शैक्षणिक संस्थांमध्ये सहकार्य  यांकरिता चार करार केले आहेत.

4. According to the global financial services company Morgan Stanley, the Indian economy is expected to witness an average GDP growth of 7.3 per cent over 2020-22.
ग्लोबल फायनान्शियल सर्व्हिसेस कंपनी मॉर्गन स्टेनलीच्या मते, 2020-22 मध्ये भारताच्या अर्थव्यवस्थेत 7.3 टक्के सरासरी जीडीपी वाढीची अपेक्षा आहे.

5. The 65th Meeting of the Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) was held under Chairmanship of Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar in New Delhi.
मध्यवर्ती सल्लागार मंडळाची (सीएबीई) 65 वी बैठक केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली नवी दिल्ली येथे आयोजित केली होती.

6. Former Union minister and Bihar’s renowned leader Raghunath Jha passed away. He was 78.
माजी केंद्रीय मंत्री आणि बिहारचे प्रसिद्ध नेते रघुनाथ झा यांचे निधन झाले. ते 78 वर्षांचे होते.

7. Third Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) partnership summit will be held in Visakhapatnam.
भारतीय उद्योगांचा तिसरा महासंघ (CII) भागीदारी सम्मेलन विशाखापट्टणम येथे होणार आहे.

8. The Indo-US joint military exercise ‘Vajra Prahar’ will be held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Seattle in the third week of January in line with the increasing military cooperation between both countries.
भारत-अमेरिका संयुक्त लष्करी उपक्रम ‘वज्रा प्राहार’ जानेवारीच्या तिसऱ्या आठवड्यात सिएटलमध्ये संयुक्त बेस लुईस-मॅकहोर्ड (जेबीएलएम) येथे आयोजित करण्यात आला आहे.

9. The World Economic Forum (WEF) has ranked India at 30th position on a global manufacturing index. Japan has topped this list.
वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरम (डब्ल्यूईएफ) ने जागतिक मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग इंडेक्सवर भारत 30 व्या स्थानावर आहे. या यादीत जपानने अव्वल स्थान पटकावले आहे.

10. The public sector major aviation company given women travelers special thanks to the New Year (2018). Air India announced a reservation of seats for women in all its domestic flight services
सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील प्रमुख विमानसेवा कंपनीने महिला पर्यटकांना नवीन वर्ष (2018) विशेष धन्यवाद दिले. एअर इंडियाने आपल्या सर्व देशांतर्गत उड्डाण सेवांमध्ये महिलांसाठी जागा आरक्षित केल्याची घोषणा केली.
