1.Karnataka State Government unveiled an ambitious project to install Wi-Fi facility in all gram panchayats across the state.
कर्नाटक राज्य सरकारने सर्व ग्रामपंचायतींमध्ये वाय-फाय सुविधा स्थापित करण्यासाठी महत्त्वाकांक्षी प्रकल्पाचा शुभारंभ केला.

2. According to Forbes magazine’s Asia’s 50 Richest Families list, Reliance Group Chief Mukesh Ambani’s family is the richest family in Asia. The net worth of his family has increased from USD 19 billion to USD 44.8 billion. South Korean Company Samsung’s Lee family is second on the list.
फोर्ब्स मॅगझिनच्या आशियातील 50 सर्वात श्रीमंत कुटुंबांच्या यादीनुसार रिलायन्स समूहाचे प्रमुख मुकेश अंबानी यांचे कुटुंब आशियातील सर्वात श्रीमंत कुटुंब आहे. त्याच्या कुटुंबांची संपत्ती 19 अब्ज डॉलरवरून 44.8 अब्ज डॉलरवर गेली आहे. दक्षिण कोरियन कंपनी सॅमसंगची ली कुटुंब ही यादीत दुसऱ्या क्रमांकावर आहे.

3. Indian-origin businessman, Millie Banerjee has been appointed as the new chairperson of the UK’s College of Policing by the British government.

5. The 15th Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT) Conference was held in New Delhi. It was the first ever conference to be held in India and South Asia.
15 व्या आशिया पॅसिफिक कॉम्प्युटर इमर्जन्सी रिस्पॉन्स टीम (एपीसीईआरटी) परिषदेचे आयोजन नवी दिल्ली येथे झाले. भारत आणि दक्षिण आशियात होणारी ही पहिली परिषद होती.

6. The 10th South Asia Economic Summit (SAES-2017) was held in Kathmandu, Nepal. The theme of this three day summit was – “Deepening Economic Integration for Inclusive and Sustainable Development in South Asia”.
10 व्या दक्षिण आशिया आर्थिक समिट (एसएईएस -017) काठमांडू, नेपाळमध्ये आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. या तीन दिवसीय परिषदेचे विषय होते – “दक्षिण आशियात समावेशक व सातत्यपूर्ण विकासासाठी आर्थिक एकत्रीकरण”.

7. Chinese Golfer Li Haotong has won the Hero Challenge title in Dubai.

8. Noted social worker Sindhutai Sapkal, fondly called as the ‘Mother of Orphans’, has been awarded with the ‘Dr Rammanohar Tripathi Lokseva Samman’ for her outstanding contribution in the service of humanity.
