1. According to data speed tester Ookla, India ranks 109th in overall 4G mobile internet speeds with an average download speed of 9.12 Mbps which is less than Pakistan (14.03 Mbps). Out of the list comprising 124 countries, Qatar ranked first in the list with 63.22 Mbps average download speed. Norway stood second in the list with 62.14 Mbps download speed.
डेटा स्पीड टेस्टर ओकला यांच्या मते, भारताला एकूण 4 जी मोबाईल इंटरनेट स्पीडमध्ये 109 वा क्रमांक मिळाला आहे. सरासरी डाउनलोड स्पीड 9.12 एमबीपीएस आहे जो पाकिस्तानपेक्षा कमी आहे (14.03 एमबीपीएस). यादीमध्ये 124 देशांचा समावेश आहे, तर 63.22 एमबीपीएस सरासरी डाउनलोड स्पीडसह कतार प्रथम क्रमांकावर आहे. नॉर्वे 62.14 एमबीपीएस डाऊनलोडची गतीसह दुसऱ्या स्थानावर आहे.

2. The Health Ministry has clarified it’s not mandatory for beneficiaries to submit Aadhaar details for seeking ₹5-lakh health insurance under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, dubbed as ‘Modicare’.
आरोग्य मंत्रालयाने स्पष्टीकरण दिले आहे की लाभार्थ्यांनी आयुषमान भारत योजने अंतर्गत 5 लाख आरोग्य विम्याची मागणी करण्यासाठी आधार विवरण सादर करणे बंधनकारक नाही.

3. First edition of the Pondicherry International Film Festival (PIFF) will begin on September.
पुडुचेरी इंटरनॅशनल फिल्म फेस्टिव्हलचे (पीआयएफएफ) पहिले संस्करण सप्टेंबरमध्ये सुरू होईल.

4. The BBC World Service has launched its first Gujarati language television news bulletin.
BBC वर्ल्ड सर्व्हिसने पहिले गुजराती भाषेतील दूरदर्शन वृत्त बुलेटिन सुरू केले आहे.

5.  Peru has declared a 60-day state of emergency on its border with Colombia.
पेरू ने कोलंबिया सोबत आपल्या सीमेवर 60 दिवसांची आणीबाणीची परिस्थिती जाहीर केली आहे.

6. The Life Insurance Corporation, LIC board gave approval to the acquisition of up to 51 per cent stake in debt-ridden IDBI Bank.
भारतीय आयुर्विमा महामंडळ (एलआयसी) ने सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील आयडीबीआय बँकेतील 51 टक्के भागभांडवल खरेदी करण्यासाठी संचालक मंडळाची मंजुरी मिळविली आहे.

7. The University of Houston has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) to build scientific and technical knowledge through joint research.
ह्यूस्टन  विद्यापीठ संयुक्त संशोधनाद्वारे वैज्ञानिक आणि तांत्रिक ज्ञानाची निर्मिती करण्यासाठी इंडियन इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ पेट्रोलियम अँड एनर्जी (आयआयपीई) सह सामंजस करारावर वर स्वाक्षरी केली आहे.

8. Indian boxers has won seven Gold medals to claim the overall top spot at the Golden Glove of Vojvodina youth tournament at Subotica in Serbia.
सर्बियाच्या सुबोटिका गोल्डन ग्लोववोयवोदिना युथ टूर्नामेंटमध्ये भारतीय बॉक्सर्सने सात सुवर्णपदकांसह प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त केले आहे.

9. In the latest list of Men’s hockey world rankings issued by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), India jumped one place to the fifth position, and Champions Trophy winners Australia (1906 points) remained on top of the chart.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय हॉकी फेडरेशनने (एफआयएच) जाहीर केलेल्या पुरुषांच्या जागतिक क्रमवारीतील ताज्या यादीमध्ये भारत एक स्थानाने पाचव्या स्थानावर पोहचला आणि चॅम्पियन्स ट्रॉफी विजेत्या ऑस्ट्रेलिया (1906 गुण) या क्रमवारीत पहिल्या स्थानावर आहे.

10. Veteran actor Rita Bhaduri has passed. She was 62.
अनुभवी अभिनेत्री रीता भादुरी यांचे निधन झाले आहे. त्या 62 वर्षांच्या होत्या.
