1. Four more Indian sites — two each from Haryana and Gujarat –have been recognised as wetlands of international importance under the Ramsar Convention, taking the number of such sites in the country to 46.

10. On August 19, 2021 India has signed a USD 500 million loans agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in order to expand metro rail network in Bengaluru.
