2. International Annual Desert Festival’ begins in Jaisalmer.The 40th International Annual Desert Festival kicked-off in Jaisalmer with thousands of tourists participating in the colorful event.
जैसलमेरमध्ये ‘आंतरराष्ट्रीय वार्षिक वाळवंट उत्सव’ सुरू झाला. जैसलमेरमध्ये 40 व्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय वार्षिक डेझर्ट फेस्टिव्हलने हजारो पर्यटकांनी रंगीत कार्यक्रमात भाग घेतला.

3. The 12th edition of Asia’s premier Air show ‘Aero India-2019’ begins at Yelahanka air force station in Bengaluru.

4. India’s first ‘fulldome 3D Digital Theatre’ at the Science City Kolkata was inaugurated by Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma.
सायन्स सिटी कोलकाता येथे भारतातील पहिले ‘फुलडॉम 3 डी डिजिटल थिएटर’ चे उद्घाटन केंद्रीय संस्कृती मंत्री महेश शर्मा यांनी केले.

5. Scientists claim to have developed the first walking robot that can explore its environment and find its way home without GPS or mapping.
शास्त्रज्ञांनी प्रथम चालणारा रोबोट विकसित केली असल्याचा दावा केला आहे जो त्याचे वातावरण एक्सप्लोर करू शकेल आणि जीपीएस किंवा मॅपिंगशिवाय घरी जाऊ शकेल.

6. A new microinsurance plan ‘Micro Bachat’ was launched by the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India.

7. The Union Cabinet approved the new National Electronics Policy 2019 that aims to achieve a turnover of $400 billion (about Rs.26 lakh crore) for the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector by 2025, while generating employment opportunities for one crore people.
सन 2025 पर्यंत इलेक्ट्रानिक सिस्टम डिझाइन अँड मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग (ईएसडीएम) क्षेत्रासाठी 400 कोटी डॉलर्स (सुमारे 26 लाख कोटी रुपये) च्या टर्नओव्हरची उद्दीष्टे केंद्र सरकारच्या नॅशनल कॅबिनेटने 2019 ला मंजूर केली आहेत, ज्यायोगे एक कोटी लोकांना रोजगाराच्या संधी मिळतील.

8. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik unveiled a scholarship programme for the children of the beneficiaries of the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (Kalia) scheme.

9. PM Modi inaugurated Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre of BHU. The new Cancer Centre at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is built at a cost of Rs 500 crore and aims to provide affordable cancer care to patients in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand and even neighbouring countries like Nepal. He also inaugurated Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Lehartara.
पंतप्रधान मोदी यांनी बीएचयूचे मदन मोहन मालवीय कॅन्सर सेंटरचे उद्घाटन केले. बनारस हिंदू युनिव्हर्सिटी (बीएचयू) चे नवीन कर्करोग केंद्र 500 कोटी रुपयांच्या खर्चात तयार केले आहे आणि उत्तर प्रदेश, झारखंड, बिहार, उत्तराखंड आणि नेपाळसारख्या शेजारील देशांतील रूग्णांमध्ये परवडणारी कर्करोगाची देखभाल करणे हा त्यांचा उद्देश आहे. लेहाराताराच्या होमी भाभा कॅन्सर हॉस्पिटलचे उद्घाटनही त्यांनी केले.

10. Nikhat Zareen and Meena Kumari Devi became the first Indian women boxers to win gold medals at the Strandja Memorial Tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria.
सोफिया, बल्गेरियामधील स्ट्रंदजा मेमोरियल टूर्नामेंटमध्ये सुवर्ण पदक जिंकणार्या निखत झारिन आणि मीना कुमारी देवी ह्यापहिल्या भारतीय महिला बॉक्सर ठरल्या आहेत.
