1. The Insurance Scheme announced under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package for health workers who are fighting to contain COVID-19 has been extended for another three months till September.
प्रधान मंत्री गरीब कल्याण पॅकेज अंतर्गत घोषित केलेल्या आरोग्य कर्मचा-यांना कोविड-19 समाविष्ट करण्यासाठी लढणार्‍या विमा योजनेस सप्टेंबरपर्यंत आणखी तीन महिन्यांची मुदतवाढ देण्यात आली आहे.

2. The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has received a patent for its Liquid Cooling and Heating Garment (LCHG).

3. Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) has extended a line of credit (LOC) of USD 20.10 million to the government of Nicaragua for reconstruction of Aldo Chavarria Hospital.
अल्डो चावरिया हॉस्पिटलच्या पुनर्बांधणीसाठी एक्सपोर्ट-इंपोर्ट बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (एक्झिम बँक) निकाराग्वा सरकारला 20.10 दशलक्ष डॉलर्सची क्रेडिट लाइन (LOC) वाढविली आहे.

4. After Nepal’s parliament endorsed the political map that shows the disputed areas of Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiadora as part of its territory earlier this month, some Nepalese FM radio stations close to India-Nepal border in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh have started giving weather bulletins of these three areas.

5. The US Senate has confirmed eminent Indian-American scientist Dr Sethuraman Panchanathan as the Director of the National Science Foundation.

6. With uncertainty prevailing over reopening of schools due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Tripura government has decided to start a scheme called ‘Ektu Khelo, Ektu Padho’ which means ‘Play little, Study little’, from June 25.
कोविड-19 साथीच्या आजारांमुळे शाळा पुन्हा सुरू करण्याबाबत असुरक्षिततेचा सामना करीत त्रिपुरा सरकारने 25 जूनपासून ‘एकटू खेळो, एकटू पाढो’ म्हणजे ‘छोटे खेळा, अभ्यास थोडे’ या नावाची योजना सुरू करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.

7. In a relief to the depositors of fraud-hit PMC Bank, the Reserve Bank of India enhanced the withdrawal limit to Rs 1 lakh while extending the regulatory restriction on the cooperative bank by another six months till Dec. 22.
