1.  According to Switzerland’s leading business school IMD, India has improved its ranking by three notches to 51 globally in terms of ability to attract, develop and retain talent. Switzerland has topped this list.
स्वित्झर्लंडच्या प्रमुख व्यावसायिक शाळेच्या आयएमडीच्या मते, प्रतिभा आकर्षित, विकसित आणि टिकवून ठेवण्याच्या क्षमतेच्या दृष्टीने भारताने जागतिक क्रमवारीत 3 क्रमांकाने सुधारून 51 व्या स्थानावर झेप घेतली आहे . स्वित्झर्लंड या यादीत सर्वात वर आहे.

2. Press Information Bureau (PIB) Director General Ira Joshi has been appointed as the Director General of Doordarshan News. She will replace Veena Jain.
प्रेस इन्फर्मेशन ब्युरो (पीआयबी) डायरेक्टर जनरल इरा जोशी यांची दूरदर्शन न्यूजच्या डायरेक्टर जनरलची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे. त्या वीणा जैन यांची जागा घेणार आहेत.

3. Tamil actor Trisha Krishnan has been conferred the UNICEF celebrity advocate status.
तमिळ अभिनेता त्रिशा कृष्णन यांना युनिसेफच्या सेलिब्रिटी अॅडव्होकेट दर्जा बहाल करण्यात आला आहे.

4. Broadcasting firm NDTV’s (New Delhi Television Limited) Group CEO and Executive Vice Chairperson K V L Narayan Rao passed away. He was 63.
ब्रॉडकास्टिंग फर्म एनडीटीव्हीच्या (न्यू दिल्ली टेलिव्हिजन लिमिटेड) ग्रुपचे सीईओ आणि कार्यकारी उपाध्यक्ष के वी एल नारायण राव यांचे निधन झाले. ते 63 वर्षांचे होते.

5. India and Russia signed an agreement to implement the general declaration for visa free entry of the crew of chartered and scheduled flights between the two countries.
भारत आणि रशिया यांनी दोन्ही देशांमधील चार्टर्ड आणि अनुसूचित फ्लाइट्सच्या कर्मचार्यांच्या व्हिसा मुक्त प्रवेशासाठी अंमलात आणण्याच्या करारावर स्वाक्षरी केली.

6. American model Kendall Jenner become the world’s highest-earning model in 2017, as per Forbes Report.
फोर्ब्स अहवालाच्यानुसार, अमेरिकन मॉडेल केंडल जेनर 2017 मध्ये जगातील सर्वात जास्त कमाई करणारी मॉडेल ठरली आहे.

7. Brahmos, the world’s fastest supersonic cruise missile created history after it was successfully flight-tested first time from the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) frontline fighter aircraft Sukhoi-30MKI against a sea-based target in the Bay of Bengal.
ब्रह्मोस, जगातील सर्वात वेगवान सुपरसॉनिक क्रूज मिसाईलने बंगालच्या उपसागरातील समुद्राच्या दिशेने लक्ष्य करून भारतीय वायुसेनेच्या (इंडियन एअर फोर्स) फ्रंटलाइन फ्लाइटर एअरक्राफ्ट सुखोई -30 एमकेआयकडून प्रथमच यशस्वीपणे चाचणी घेण्यात आली.

8. Andhra Bank launched a new scheme for self-help groups (SHGs) to encourage entrepreneurship.
उद्योजकतेला प्रोत्साहित करण्यासाठी आंध्र बँकेने स्व-मदत गटांसाठी एक नवीन योजना सुरू केली आहे.

9. A two-day conference of all Commanders of Eastern Air Command commenced at Shillong in Meghalaya, where issues pertaining to security are being discussed.

10. India’s mission to the Sun will be launched in 2019 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
भारताच्या ‘मिशन सूर्य’ चे  2019 मध्ये आंध्रप्रदेशातील श्रीहरिकोटा येथून उद्घाटन केले जाईल.
