1.World Book and Copyright Day is celebrated globally this year on 23 April to provide the people with many ideas and plans to make them aware of the situation and condition in the World.
23 एप्रिलला जागतिक पुस्तक आणि कॉपीराइट दिवस जागतिक पातळीवर साजरा केला जातो ज्यामुळे त्यांना अनेक संकल्पना आणि योजनांना जगामध्ये परिस्थिती आणि स्थितीची जाणीव करून देण्यास मदत होते.

2. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved a restructured Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA).
आर्थिक विषयांवर कॅबिनेट कमिटी (सीसीईए) ने एक पुनर्रचित राष्ट्रीय ग्राम स्वराज मोहीम (आरजीएसए) मंजूर केली आहे.

3. The Coal Ministry appointed Suresh Kumar as the part-time Chairman and Managing Director of Coal India Ltd.
कोळसा मंत्रालयाने कोल इंडिया लिमिटेडचे अंशकालिक अध्यक्ष आणि व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक म्हणून सुरेश कुमार यांची नियुक्ती केली आहे.

4. IMF unveils new anti-corruption policy for its member states.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्राकोझ ने सदस्य देशांना नवीन भ्रष्टाचार प्रतिबंधक धोरण घोषित केले.

5. Reliance Communications has entered into an agreement with a local operator in Uganda to offer telecom services in the African country.
रिलायन्स कम्युनिकेशन्स ने आफ्रिकी देशांमध्ये दूरसंचार सेवा पुरविण्यास युगांडामध्ये एक स्थानिक ऑपरेटरशी करार केला आहे.

6. The Reserve Bank of India has estimated the country’s growth rate to be 7.4% in the next financial year.
भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेने पुढील आर्थिक वर्षात देशाचा विकास दर 7.4% राहण्याचा अंदाज लावला आहे.

7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Wuhan for informal summit meeting with President Xi Jinping.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी, चीनचे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष श्रीकांत चिंगपिंग यांच्याबरोबर अनौपचारिक शिखर बैठकीसाठी वुहान जाणार आहेत.

8. The Commonwealth countries at the end of Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in London have adopted Commonwealth Cyber Declaration to take action on cybersecurity by 2020.
लंडन मध्ये राष्ट्रमंडळ प्रमुखांची सरकारी बैठक (CHOGM) च्या अखेरीस 2020 पर्यंत राष्ट्रमंडळ देशांनी सायबर सुरक्षा यावर प्रक्रिया करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रमंडळ सायबर जाहीरनामाचा अवलंब केला आहे.

9. World Earth Day was celebrated on April 22. This year the theme of World Earth Day 2018 was ‘End of Plastic Pollution’.
जागतिक पृथ्वी दिन 22 एप्रिल रोजी साजरा करण्यात आला. या पृथ्वी दिन 2018 ची थीम ‘प्लॅस्टिक प्रदूषणाचा अंत’  होती.

10. Indian animation pioneer and multiple National Award winner Bhimsain Khurana had passed away. He was 82.
भारतीय अॅनिमेशन अग्रेसर आणि बहुराष्ट्रीय राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेता भीमसेन खुराना यांचे निधन झाले. ते 82 वर्षांचे होते.
