1. The seventh edition of the India International Coffee Festival (IICF) will be held in Bengaluru from January 16-19.
इंडिया इंटरनॅशनल कॉफी फेस्टिव्हल (IICF) चा सातवा संस्करण बेंगळुरूत 16-19 जानेवारी रोजी होणार आहे.

2. Airtel Payments Bank Chief Executive Shashi Arora has quit the company after a recent controversy surrounding India’s largest telecom operator and its payment bank’s alleged violation of rules on using Aadhaar for its electronic know-your-customer (e-KYC) verification process.
एअरटेल पेमेंट्स बँकेचे मुख्य कार्यकारी शशी अरोरा यांनी भारताच्या सर्वात मोठ्या टेलिकॉम ऑपरेटर आणि त्याच्या देयक बँकेच्या e-KYC पडताळणी प्रक्रियेसाठी आधार वापरण्याबाबत नियमांचा कथित उल्लंघन केल्याबद्दल झालेल्या विवादानंतर आपल्या पदाचा राजीनामा दिला.

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी नेपाळी काँग्रेसचे अध्यक्ष शेरी बहादुर देउबा, CPN-UMLचे अध्यक्ष के. पी. शर्मा ओली आणि CPN-माओवादी केंद्रचे अध्यक्ष पुष्पा कमल दहल यांच्याशी फोनवर चर्चा केली.

6. Union Home Minister affairs Rajnath Singh said the SSB is strengthening its position in Sikkim and Bhutan-border area after Doklam issue between India and China.
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री राजनाथसिंह यांनी सांगितले की, SSB भारत आणि चीन यांच्यातील डोकलाम समस्येनंतर सिक्कीम आणि भूतान सीमावर्ती भागात आपले स्थान बळकट करत आहे.

7. Shri M. Subbarayudu presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Peru.
परराष्ट्र मंत्रालयाच्या सध्याच्या सह सचिव श्री एम. सुब्बारायडू यांची  पेरू गणराज्य करिता भारताचे राजदूत म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे.

8. Maharashtra set to generate 25,000 MW electricity through solar power. Rather Maharashtra as a state tops in generating power through renewable energy around 7,500 MW.
सौरऊर्जेच्या माध्यमातून महाराष्ट्र 25,000 मेगावॅट वीज निर्मिती करणार आहे.  उलट महाराष्ट्र नवीकरणक्षम उर्जेच्या माध्यमातून सुमारे 7,500 मेगावॅट वीजनिर्मितीसाठी आघाडीवर आहे.
