1. A three-day Smart Cities India 2018 Expo, began in New Delhi. The mega event, consisting five expos is being held with a vision to help develop attractive and safe cities that evoke pride, passion and a sense of belonging among citizens.
तीन दिवसीय’ स्मार्ट सिटीज इंडिया 2018 एक्सपो’ची, नवी दिल्लीमध्ये सुरुवात झाली. या प्रदर्शनासह पाच प्रदर्शने आयोजित करण्यात आली आहेत. यात आकर्षक आणि सुरक्षित शहरे विकसित करण्याच्या दृष्टीकोनातून हे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे ज्यात नागरिकांचा अभिमान, उत्कटता आणि भावना जागृत होणे आवश्यक आहे.

2. As per Lancet Global Burden of Disease study, India ranked 145th among 195 countries in terms of quality and accessibility of healthcare on the Healthcare Access and Quality Index (HAQ Index).

3. The JD(S)-Congress coalition government head HD Kumaraswamy was sworn-in as the New Chief Minister of Karnataka.
जेडी (एस) -कॉंग्रेस गठबंधन सरकारचे प्रमुख एचडी कुमारस्वामी यांनी कर्नाटकचे नवीन मुख्यमंत्री म्हणून शपथ ग्रहण केली.

4.  The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has promoted Stacey Cunningham to President, making her the first sole woman head of the 226-year-old exchange.

5. M Venkatesh has been appointed as the Managing Director of Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL).

6. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) have joined hands to take up collaborative research on air navigation systems

10. Veteran film and theatre actor Dr. Hemu Adhikari has passed away recently. He was 81.
ज्येष्ठ चित्रपट आणि थिएटर अभिनेते डॉ. हेमू अधिकारी यांचे नुकतेच निधन झाले आहे. तो 81 वर्षांचे होते.
