1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored 7 girls and 11 boys with the National Bravery Awards.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी 7 मुली आणि 11 मुलांना राष्ट्रीय शौर्य पुरस्काराने सन्मानित केले.

2. The Election Commission of India celebrated the 8th National Voters’ Day across the country on 25th January for enhanced participation of citizens in the electoral process
भारताच्या निवडणूक आयोगाने 25 जानेवारी रोजी देशभरात 8 वा राष्ट्रीय मतदार दिन साजरा केला.

3. SRO’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) director S Somanath taken charge as the new director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).

5. Indian Overseas Bank has signed a MOU with National Housing Bank for the Rural Housing Interest Subsidy Scheme (RHISS) of the Ministry of Rural Development.
इंडियन ओव्हरसीज बँकेने ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालयाच्या ग्रामीण गृह कर्ज व्याज अनुदान योजना (RHISS)साठी राष्ट्रीय हाउसिंग बँकेसह एक सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

6. According to the survey by US Green Building Council (USGBC), India has been ranked 3rd on the annual ranking of the top 10 countries for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified buildings.
यूएस ग्रीन बिल्डिंग कौन्सिल (यूएसजीबीसी) च्या सर्वेक्षणानुसार, भारताला ऊर्जा आणि पर्यावरणास डिझाईन (एलईईडी) प्रमाणित इमारतींसाठी नेतृत्व करणा-या शीर्ष 10 देशांच्या वार्षिक रँकिंगमध्ये तिसरे स्थान मिळाले आहे.

7. Rakhi Halder has won the gold medal in the 63kg women’s category in the 33rd Women Senior National Weightlifting Championships in Mangaluru.
राखी हलदर यांनी मंगलूरु येथे 33 व्या वयोगटातील वरिष्ठ राष्ट्रीय भारोत्तोलन चॅम्पियनशिपमध्ये 63 किलो वजन गटातील सुवर्णपदक पटकावले आहे.

8. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) became India’s second company after Reliance Industries Ltd to cross Rs 6 trillion market capitalisation.
टाटा कन्सल्टन्सी सर्व्हिसेस लि. (टीसीएस) रिलायन्स इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेडने 6 लाख करोड़ मार्केट कॅपिटलायझेशन पार केल्यानंतर भारताची दुसरी कंपनी बनली आहे.

9. US science fiction and fantasy author, Ursula K Le Guin, died. She was 88.
अमेरिकन विज्ञान कल्पनारम्य आणि काल्पनिक लेखक उर्सुला के. ले गुइन यांचे निधन झाले. त्या 88 वर्षांच्या होत्या.

10. Legendary South African Jazz Musician Hugh Masekela passed away. He was 78.
दक्षिण आफ्रिकन जॅझ  संगीतकार ह्यूज मासेकेला यांचे निधन झाले. ते 78 वर्षांचे होते.
