1.  The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the for setting up of Indian Institute of Skills(IISs) at different locations across the country in Public Private Partnership (PPP), which will be explored for promotion of IIS at select locations based on demand and available infrastructure.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने सार्वजनिक खाजगी भागीदारी (पीपीपी) मध्ये देशभरातील वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी इंडियन इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ स्किल्स (आयआयएस) स्थापन करण्याची मंजूरी दिली आहे, ज्याची निवड विशिष्ट ठिकाणी आधारित आयआयएसच्या प्रचारासाठी केली जाईल.

2. Three Indian-Americans have been named in the Time magazine’s 2018 list of the 50 most influential people whose work is transforming healthcare in the US. The three Indian-Americans included in the list are Divya Nag, Dr Raj Panjabi and Atul Gawande.

4. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its approval for creation of special Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF).

7. A Chinese company tested the ‘world’s largest’ cargo drone Feihong-98 (FH-98) which can carry a payload of 1.5 tonnes (1,500kg).
