1. A bilateral meeting was held in Dhaka between Commerce Minister of Bangladesh, Tofail Ahmed, MP and Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Minister of India, Suresh Prabhu.
ढाकामध्ये बांगलादेशचे वाणिज्य मंत्री, टोफेल अहमद, एमपी आणि वाणिज्य व उद्योग आणि नागरी उड्डयन मंत्री सुरेश प्रभु यांच्या दरम्यान द्विपक्षीय बैठक झाली.

2. A statue of Nelson Mandela has been unveiled at the United Nations to honour the late South African leader’s birth. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Mandela’s birth.The UN also declared 2019-2028 the “Nelson Mandela Decade of Peace.
दक्षिण आफ्रिकेच्या नेत्याच्या जन्माच्या सन्मानार्थ संयुक्त राष्ट्रात नेल्सन मंडेलाच्या पुतळ्याचे अनावरण करण्यात आले आहे. मंडेला यांच्या जन्माच्या 100 व्या वर्धापन दिनानिमित्त यावर्षी ही घोषणा केली. संयुक्त राष्ट्रांनी 2019-2028 काळ  “नेल्सन मंडेला शांती दशक” घोषित केला आहे.

3. The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approvedthe National Digital Communications Policy-2018 (NDCP-2018) and re-designation of the Telecom Commission as the “Digital Communications Commission”.

4. Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance and National Informatics Centre (NIC) has jointly developed a mobile app called Jan Dhan Darshak as a part of financial inclusion (FI) initiative.

5. Japan became the world’s first country to successfully land two robotic rovers on an asteroid. This is the first time that the world will observe the surface of an asteroid via moving robots
लघुग्रहांवर दोन रोबोट रोव्हर्स यशस्वीपणे पार पाडण्यासाठी जपान जगातील पहिला देश ठरला आहे. हलकी रोबोट्सद्वारे विश्व क्षेपणास्त्राच्या पृष्ठभागाचे निरीक्षण करेल अशी ही पहिलीच वेळ आहे.

6. Major E-commerce Company Flipkart has acquired an Israel-based analytics start-up Upstream Commerce.
ई-कॉमर्स कंपनी फ्लिपकार्टने इस्रायलची अॅनालिटिक्स स्टार्टअप अपस्ट्रीम कॉमर्स विकत घेतली आहे.

7. Asian Development Bank (ADB) has maintained the growth forecast for India for the current fiscal at 7.3 per cent.
चालू आर्थिक वर्षासाठी एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँक (एडीबी) ने भारताचा विकास दर 7.3 टक्के नोंदवला आहे.

10. Renowned commentator Jasdev Singh, who did commentary for various sports including Cricket, died. He was 87.
क्रिकेट समेत विविध खेळांचे समालोचन करणारे देशातील सर्वात लोकप्रिय समालोचक जसदेव सिंह यांचे निधन झाले. ते 87 वर्षांचे होते.
