1. The Indian Railways will not provide free travel insurance to its passengers starting September 1.
भारतीय रेल्वे 1 सप्टेंबरपासून प्रवाशांना मोफत प्रवासी विमा पुरवू शकणार नाही.

2. Akshay Kumar-fronted “Gold” has become the first Bollywood film ever to release in Saudi Arabia.
अक्षय कुमार नायक असलेला “गोल्ड” चित्रपट हा सऊदी अरबमध्ये रिलीज होणारा पहिला बॉलीवूड चित्रपट ठरला आहे.

3. HDFC Bank has announced that it will adopt 30 villages in flood-hit Kerala as part of its long-term relief and rehabilitation efforts.
एचडीएफसी बँकेने जाहीर केले आहे की ते दीर्घकालीन मदत आणि पुनर्वसन प्रयत्नांच्या भाग म्हणून केरळमधील 30 पूरग्रस्त गावांना दत्तक घेणार आहेत.

4. The 4th Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) kicked off at Kathmandu, Nepal.
बहु-क्षेत्रीय तांत्रिक आणि आर्थिक सहकार (बमस्टेक) बंगालच्या उपसागराची चौथी शिखर परिषद काठमांडु, नेपाळ येथे आयोजित करण्यात आहे.

5. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India signed a $346 million loan to finance improvement of over 400 kilometers of state highways that will enhance connectivity and access to economic centers across 12 districts in Karnataka.
एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँक (एडीबी) आणि भारत सरकार यांनी राज्य महामार्गांच्या सुधारणेसाठी $ 346 दशलक्ष कर्ज मंजूर केले ज्यामुळे कर्नाटकच्या 12 जिल्ह्यांमध्ये कनेक्टिव्हिटी आणि वित्तीय केंद्र वाढतील.

6. Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) announced its tie-up with HDFC Ergo general insurance company.
लक्ष्मी विलास बँक(LVB) ने एचडीएफसी आरगो जनरल इन्शुरन्स कंपनीबरोबर टाई-अप केले आहे.

7. Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Suresh Prabhu,is leading the Indian delegation for the 6th RCEP Trade Ministers’ Meeting which begins in Singapore.
वाणिज्य व उद्योग आणि नागरी विमान वाहतूक मंत्री सुरेश प्रभू सिंगापूरमध्ये  सुरू होणाऱ्या 6 व्या RCEP व्यापार मंत्र्यांच्या बैठकीसाठी भारतीय प्रतिनिधी मंडळाचे प्रमुख आहेत.

8. The Reserve Bank expects that India’s economic growth rate to accelerate to 7.4 per cent in the current financial year.
रिझर्व्ह बँकेला अपेक्षित आहे की चालू आर्थिक वर्षामध्ये भारताची आर्थिक वाढ दर 7.4 टक्के होईल.

9.  Arpinder Singh clinched India’s first men’s triple jump gold in 48 years with a jump of 16.77m in the Asian Games.
अरपिंदर सिंह ने पुरूषांच्या त्रिकूदमध्ये 16.77 मीटर उडी मारून आशियाई खेळांच्या स्पर्धेत भारताला मागील 48 वर्षांपूर्वी प्रथम सुवर्ण पदक मिळवून दिले.

10. Former Tourism and Rural Industries Minister of Tamilnadu, S. Nagoor Meeran has passed away recently. He was 55.
तामिळनाडूचे माजी पर्यटन आणि ग्रामीण उद्योग मंत्री एस. नागूर मीरन यांचे नुकतेच निधन झाले आहे. ते 55 वर्षांचे होते.
