5. Union Minister of State for Environment Ashwini Kumar Choubey presented data on tigers in Lok Sabha recently. According to him, 329 tigers got lost in India in past 3 years.

7. Oak Fire recently broke out in Mariposa, California. It is the largest fire so far in 2022, overtaking 17,242 acres area. US firefighters (3000 in numbers) are trying to control the wildfire and stop its eastward expansion towards Yosemite National Park.
