IBPS Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee (PO/MT) CWE Exam Syllabus, Pattern & Eligibility Criteria

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2017Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conduct a common written examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee in 19 public sector banks and Participating Organisations.

IBPS PO/MT Exam Pattern :

  • Type of Questions : Objective
  • No. of Questions : 200
  • Time Duration : 2 Hours (120 Minute)
  • Negative Marking : 0.25 Marks deducted for Wrong answer.

This time the exam is going to be online. This exam consists of the following sections.

  • Reasoning : 50 Marks
  • Numerical Ability : 50 Marks
  • General Awareness : 40 Marks
  • English Language : 40 Marks
  • Computer Knowledge : 20 Marks

The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

Second section of is English language. It is one of the most important languages because it is wider and useful in all over the world, so the managing committee wants to select only those candidates who are capable of understand English. The questions in this section may be asked from the topics

Third Section – Numerical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude :
Third section is Quantitative Aptitude in this question will have five multiple-choice answers. The question in this selection may be based on two topics like as Arithmetic and Data Interpretation.

Eligibility Criteria : A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Age :

  • Minimum : 20 years
  • Maximum : 30 years
