State Bank of India – SBI PO Exam Syllabus

SBI State Bank Of IndiaSBI PO Exam Syllabus : popularly known as SBI conducts its recruitment for the post of SBI PO or Probationary officer every year. The recruitment process is initiated by a written examination which consists of syllabus including several topics and subjects. In this section, we will provide you SBI PO syllabus.

There 2 sections in SBI PO Exam

Written test: This test is of 2 papers as
i) Objective Tests: (200 marks)
Objective paper: This paper consists of 4 sections such as
A) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc)
B) Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computer.
C) Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation
D) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

English Language: Vocabulary, grammar, synonyms and antonyms, comprehension, sentence formation, error connection, subject verb agreement etc.

General Awareness: General knowledge questions, you should be familiar with latest happenings, International and National Organizations, important dates, sports, economics news, books and authors, awards and honors, inventions and discoveries, political happenings in the country etc.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:  Data Sufficiency, Permutations, Combinations and Probability, Data Table Pie-Charts, Bar Graphs, Line Graphs, Mixed Graphs, Case Study

Reasoning: This part checks the candidate on reasoning abilities and mental aptitude. So, it is advised that you should prepare both verbal and non-verbal sections. For verbal tasks, you should prepare analogy, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, decision making, Problem on Age Calculation, Arithmetical Reasoning, etc.

ii) Descriptive Test (50 marks): The Descriptive test with 1 hour duration will be of “test of English Language {comprehension, short precis, latter writing and essay}”
