You have scope in state and central government as a junior engineer. Civil sathi vacancy nightat tya sathi tumhi apply karu shaktat.Ma.na.pa etc.

After diploma you can give JE exam for railway, State Govt. and Central Govt.

You can get admission in B.E.&B.tech courses Or.. Get admission in advance diploma course of civil engineering

Government jobs aftr diploma can be categorised as central government jobs , railway jobs , state govrrnment jobs and psu jobs

Central government jobs - junior engineer job in central engineering sercies (CPWD), central water commission , survey of india , MES etc - you can apply here through SSC which conducts exam for junior exam ( two tier )
Railways - RRB recruits junior engineer through exam which it conducts every year
State government jobs : state government also recruits junior engineer
Psu jobs : psu like DMRC , AAI ,DDA , RITES also conducts exam for junior exams

Conclusion - above 4 options are good and job will also be technical But you prepare well for these exams as the competition is tough as degree holders are elible inoat of exams and you should keep track of recruitment forms for these exams and fill these exam as soon as possible
