Start the engine. Squeeze and hold your clutch lever down (located on the left) and push the start button (located on the right). You should hear the blissful sound of your motorcycle cranking up. Close the choke and open the throttle.
Make sure the motorcycle gear shifter is in neutral. Squeeze the motorcycle clutch lever with your left hand all the way to the grip. Press the start button with your right thumb. Let the starter motor turn over until the engine fires before you release the start button.
