As per the Government of India notification, it is compulsory for all Indian residents to link their Aadhaar Card with PAN. If you fail to might lead to the invalidation of the PAN card. It is important to link PAN to Aadhaar card it fulfill several other purposes like income tax return file etc. How you can link PAN to Aadhaar card?

You can simply send an sms in a specific format using a keyword to the 56161.

The format is: UIDPANSPACE 12 digit Aadhaar SPACE10 digit PAN

Visit the Income Tax e-Filing website to link your PAN and Aadhaar. Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number in the form. Enter your name as mentioned in your Aadhaar card. In case only your birth year is mentioned on your Aadhaar card, you have to tick the square
