| 4. The Narmada canal network has brought clean drinking water to Sundra, a small village on the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan’s Barmer district. This is a big change for the village. The water has traveled about 728 km from the Sardar Sarovar system to get to the village. This ends a long history of water shortages in one of the state’s harshest desert areas.
