| 2. Kumar Shanker has been appointed as the Managing Director of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) w.e.f. 5 June 2026. He succeeds Kamal Kishore Chatiwal, who has returned to GAIL (India) Limited after completing a three-year term at IGL. | 5. The Centre is setting up mega leather, footwear and accessories clusters at Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Sitapur in Madhya Pradesh, Raigad district in Maharashtra and Ranipet in Tamil Nadu. These clusters have a combined investment of Rs 898 crore. | 6. The Ministry of Ayush has declared the theme for the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026, to be celebrated on June 21, 2026, as “Yoga for Healthy Ageing”. | 8. The Zojila Tunnel is a 13.153-kilometer road tunnel under construction in the Himalayas at an altitude of about 11,578 feet or nearly 3,000 meters above sea level.
