| 2. Gujarat Government to launch the Industrial Policy-2026 on June 15 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi will launch the policy in a special programme. The policy paper also provides for industrial investment, job creation, innovation and sectoral incentives. गुजरात सरकार 15 जून रोजी गांधीनगर येथील महात्मा मंदिर येथे ‘औद्योगिक धोरण-२०२६’ (Industrial Policy-2026) जाहीर करणार आहे. मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र पटेल आणि उपमुख्यमंत्री हर्ष संघवी एका विशेष कार्यक्रमात या धोरणाचे अनावरण करतील. या धोरणामध्ये औद्योगिक गुंतवणूक, रोजगार निर्मिती, नाविन्यपूर्ण उपक्रम आणि विविध क्षेत्रांसाठीच्या प्रोत्साहनांचाही समावेश आहे. |

Maharashtra to have separate category for ‘Single Parent Child’ in college admission forms for higher, technical education The proposal was discussed on 13 June 2026 and Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil said that a high level committee will be constituted for implementation. उच्च आणि तंत्रशिक्षण विभागांतर्गत महाविद्यालयांमधील प्रवेशासाठीच्या अर्जांमध्ये ‘एक पालक असलेल्या पालकाची मुले’ (Single Parent Child) यांच्यासाठी स्वतंत्र श्रेणी समाविष्ट केली जाणार आहे. या प्रस्तावावर 13 जून 2026 रोजी चर्चा झाली असून, त्याची अंमलबजावणी करण्यासाठी उच्च व तंत्रशिक्षण मंत्री चंद्रकांत पाटील यांनी एका उच्चस्तरीय समितीची स्थापना केली जाईल, असे जाहीर केले. |

Uttar Pradesh has begun providing indigenous cow-milk products including Skyr to the Indian Army under a dairy scheme associated with cow preservation, employment in rural areas and milk manufacturing. Products are made from milk of indigenous breeds like Gir and Sahiwal. | 5. 13 June 2026 President Droupadi Murmu reviewed the Passing Out Parade of the 158th Regular Course and 141st Technical Graduate Course at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. Kerala government launched free bus travel scheme for women and transgender persons Priyadarshini formally on 15 June 2026 The scheme allows free travel in ordinary Kerala State Road Transport Corporation buses, using a zero-value ticket issued through an Electronic Ticket Machine. केरळ सरकारने 15 जून 2026 रोजी महिला आणि तृतीयपंथी व्यक्तींसाठी ‘प्रियदर्शिनी’ ही मोफत बस प्रवास योजना अधिकृतपणे सुरू केली. या योजनेअंतर्गत, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक तिकीट मशीनद्वारे जारी केलेल्या ‘शून्य-मूल्य’ तिकिटाचा वापर करून केरळ राज्य मार्ग परिवहन महामंडळाच्या सामान्य बसेसमधून मोफत प्रवास करता येतो. |

An epigraphical survey of the Nallamala Tiger Reserve Forest was undertaken and completed on 13th June 2026 in which the Epigraphy Branch of Archaeological Survey of India recorded and copied 25 ancient inscriptions. The inscriptions date from a period of nearly 1,400 years, from the 2nd century CE to the 16th century CE and are in Telugu, Kannada, Prakrit and Brahmi script. नल्लामला व्याघ्र राखीव वनक्षेत्रात शिलालेखीय सर्वेक्षण हाती घेण्यात आले आणि 13 जून 2026 रोजी ते पूर्ण झाले; या सर्वेक्षणादरम्यान ‘आर्किओलॉजिकल सर्व्हे ऑफ इंडिया’च्या शिलालेख विभागाने 25 प्राचीन शिलालेखांची नोंद केली व त्यांच्या प्रती तयार केल्या. हे शिलालेख इसवी सन दुसरे शतक ते सोळावे शतक अशा सुमारे 1,400 वर्षांच्या कालावधीतील असून, ते तेलुगू, कन्नड, प्राकृत आणि ब्राह्मी लिपीमध्ये आहेत. |

The 10th meeting of the Project Steering Committee and the 8th meeting of the Joint Working Group between India and Nepal were held in Kathmandu on 11-12 June 2026 to review cross-border railway cooperation progress. Discussions included passenger train connectivity on the Janakpur-Ayodhya stretch, Final Location Survey report for the proposed Raxaul-Kathmandu broad gauge railway link and technical support for Nepal’s East-West Railway Link. सीमापार रेल्वे सहकार्याच्या प्रगतीचा आढावा घेण्यासाठी भारत आणि नेपाळ यांच्यातील ‘प्रकल्प सुकाणू समिती’ची (Project Steering Committee) १० वी बैठक आणि ‘संयुक्त कार्यगटा’ची (Joint Working Group) ८ वी बैठक 11-12 जून 2026 रोजी काठमांडू येथे आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या बैठकींमध्ये जनकपूर-अयोध्या मार्गावरील प्रवासी रेल्वे संपर्क, प्रस्तावित रक्सौल-काठमांडू ब्रॉड गेज रेल्वे मार्गाचा ‘अंतिम स्थान सर्वेक्षण’ (Final Location Survey) अहवाल आणि नेपाळच्या पूर्व-पश्चिम रेल्वे मार्गासाठी तांत्रिक सहाय्य यांबाबत चर्चा करण्यात आली. |
