| 1. 15 June 2026 will be noted as the 18th annual Global Wind Day 2026. The event is being organised by WindEurope and the Global Wind Energy Council to promote wind energy as a renewable source of power. 15 जून 2026 हा दिवस 18 वा वार्षिक ‘जागतिक पवन ऊर्जा दिन 2026’ (Global Wind Day 2026) म्हणून साजरा केला जाईल. पवन ऊर्जेचा एक अक्षय ऊर्जा स्रोत म्हणून प्रसार करण्यासाठी ‘विंड-युरोप’ (WindEurope) आणि ‘ग्लोबल विंड एनर्जी कौन्सिल’ (Global Wind Energy Council) यांच्याद्वारे या कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन केले जात आहे. १५ जून २०२६ रोजी भारत गोव्यामध्ये “पवन ऊर्जा: महत्त्वाकांक्षेपासून वेगवान प्रगतीकडे” (Wind Energy: From Ambition to Acceleration) या संकल्पनेवर आधारित ‘जागतिक पवन ऊर्जा दिन २०२६’ परिषदेचे यजमानपद भूषवणार आहे. |
| 2. The Indian Army rolled out a new uniform code in a 174-page pamphlet called Army Uniforms-2026 in June 2026. The manual is the first comprehensive revision to the Army’s dress regulations in eight years and covers formal attire, winter working dress, ceremonial wear, grooming standards and women officers’ clothing options. भारतीय लष्कराने जून 2026 मध्ये ‘आर्मी युनिफॉर्म्स-2026’ (Army Uniforms-2026) या 174 पानी पुस्तिकेद्वारे गणवेशाबाबतची नवीन नियमावली लागू केली. गेल्या आठ वर्षांतील लष्कराच्या गणवेशविषयक नियमावलीतील ही पहिलीच सर्वसमावेशक सुधारणा असून, यात औपचारिक गणवेश, हिवाळ्यातील कामाचा गणवेश, समारंभाचे पोशाख, व्यक्तिमत्त्व व नीटनेटकेपणाचे निकष (grooming standards) आणि महिला अधिकाऱ्यांच्या पोशाखाचे पर्याय यांचा समावेश आहे. |
| 3. On 15 June 2026, the Indian Army chose the MEPRO X6 telescopic sight for use as the daytime optic for in-service NEGEV machine guns. | 4. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has the power to regulate food labelling, brand names and product claims under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. FSSAI issued notices to food business operators in June 2026 for using claims such as “healthy”, “organic”, “zero maida”, “true vitamin” and “plant-based vegan” on packaged foods. भारतीय अन्न सुरक्षा आणि मानके प्राधिकरण (FSSAI) ला अन्न सुरक्षा आणि मानके कायदा, 2006 अंतर्गत अन्न लेबलिंग, ब्रँडची नावे आणि उत्पादनासंबंधीच्या दाव्यांचे नियमन करण्याचे अधिकार आहेत. | 5. India, France set 5-year target to double annual bilateral trade from approx 16 bn to 32 bn. The Innovation Roadmap 2030 was adopted and a Dialogue on Economic Security was launched during the bilateral talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron in Nice, France on 14 June 2026.
