| 1. On 24 June 2026, ISRO conducted a hot test of its semi-cryogenic engine power head at the ISRO Propulsion Complex in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu. The test achieved 175 tonnes of thrust, 88% of the target thrust. This was the eighth hot test in the Power Head Test Article series. Advertisement
24 जून2026 रोजी, इस्रोने तामिळनाडूतील महेंद्रगिरी येथील ‘इस्रो प्रोपल्शन कॉम्प्लेक्स’मध्ये आपल्या सेमी-क्रायोजेनिक इंजिनच्या ‘पॉवर हेड’ची ‘हॉट टेस्ट’ (प्रत्यक्ष प्रज्वलन चाचणी) घेतली. या चाचणीत 175 टन्सचा थ्रस्ट (प्रणोदन बल) प्राप्त झाला, जो अपेक्षित थ्रस्टच्या 88% इतका होता. ‘पॉवर हेड टेस्ट आर्टिकल’ मालिकेतील ही आठवी हॉट टेस्ट होती. |
| 2. The West Bengal Assembly will table a Uniform Civil Code Bill on June 29, 2026 during the Budget Session. The proposed legislation seeks to establish a common civil code for marriage, divorce, inheritance and adoption for all citizens, irrespective of religion. पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा 29 जून 2026 रोजी अर्थसंकल्पीय अधिवेशनादरम्यान ‘समान नागरी संहिता’ (Uniform Civil Code) विधेयक मांडणार आहे. या प्रस्तावित कायद्याद्वारे, धर्म कोणताही असला तरी सर्व नागरिकांसाठी विवाह, घटस्फोट, वारसाहक्क आणि दत्तकविधान यांबाबत एकसमान नागरी संहिता लागू करण्याचा उद्देश आहे. |
| 3. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on 27 June 2026 launched the cooperation-based taxi service Bharat Taxi in Gujarat. The launch took place at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, and the platform was launched as India’s first cooperative-based driver-owned ride-hailing service. केंद्रीय गृह आणि सहकार मंत्री अमित शाह यांनी 27 जून 2026 रोजी गुजरातमध्ये ‘भारत टॅक्सी’ या सहकार-आधारित टॅक्सी सेवेचा शुभारंभ केला. गांधीनगर येथील महात्मा मंदिर येथे हा शुभारंभ सोहळा पार पडला आणि ही सेवा भारतातील पहिली सहकार-आधारित व चालकांच्या मालकीची ‘राइड-हेलिंग’ (टॅक्सी बुकिंग) सेवा म्हणून सुरू करण्यात आली. |

Nasha Mukt Bharat Saptah 2026 was observed across India from 17 June to 26 June 2026 by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. | 5. Helina is a third generation anti-tank guided missile developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation for helicopter launch platforms. | 6. New Delhi, India will host the first ever National Rural Development Conference on 28-29 June 2026. The two-day conclave is tied to the theme ‘Viksit Gram, Viksit Bharat’. The conclave will be headed by the Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. नवी दिल्ली येथे 28-29 जून 2026 रोजी पहिल्या ‘राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण विकास परिषदे’चे आयोजन केले जाईल. ‘विकसित ग्राम, विकसित भारत’ या संकल्पनेवर आधारित ही दोन दिवसीय परिषद असेल. केंद्रीय कृषी आणि शेतकरी कल्याण व ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली ही परिषद पार पडेल. |
| 7. The National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) of India issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the notification of threatened species on 26 June 2026. The SOP is governed by Section 38 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 and is applicable to States and Union Territories in India. भारताच्या राष्ट्रीय जैवविविधता प्राधिकरणाने (NBA) 26 जून 2026 रोजी धोक्यात आलेल्या प्रजातींच्या अधिसूचनेसाठी एक प्रमाणित कार्यपद्धती (SOP) जारी केली. ही कार्यपद्धती ‘जैविक विविधता कायदा, 2002’ च्या कलम 38 द्वारे नियंत्रित केली जाते आणि ती भारतातील राज्ये व केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांना लागू आहे. |
| 8. On 26 June 2026, the Women’s Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization 2026 took place in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic.
