| 1. Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejections (ICMEs) are large solar eruptions that propagate from the Sun to Earth and interact with the solar wind and with the geomagnetic field. | 2. Researchers have used artificial intelligence to study over a century of hand-drawn solar observations from the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory in Tamil Nadu. | 3. I-2SEA is a new subsea cable system announced on 2 July 2026, to connect Singapore, India and Malaysia. | 4. The Reserve Bank of India has appointed Mr. Ravi Shankar as Executive Director, with effect from 1 July 2026. | 5. Skyroot Aerospace has announced the launch window for Vikram-1, which is from 12 July to 4 August 2026. | 7. India has approved its first Private Point-in-Space (PinS) Instrument Approach Procedure for helicopter operations on 01.07.2026. The procedure was developed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and approved for Undavalli Heliport in Andhra Pradesh ahead of the clearance by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). भारताने 1 जुलै 2026 रोजी हेलिकॉप्टरच्या कामकाजासाठी आपली पहिली खाजगी ‘पॉइंट-इन-स्पेस’ (PinS) इन्स्ट्रुमेंट अप्रोच प्रक्रिया मंजूर केली आहे. ही प्रक्रिया ‘एअरपोर्ट्स ऑथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया’ने (AAI) विकसित केली असून, ‘डिरेक्टरेट जनरल ऑफ सिव्हिल एव्हिएशन’ची (DGCA) मंजुरी मिळण्यापूर्वीच ती आंध्र प्रदेशातील उंडावल्ली हेलिपोर्टसाठी मंजूर करण्यात आली आहे. |
| 8. Union Cabinet approves two highway infrastructure projects worth ₹14,114.81 crore on 1 July 2026. The projects include an 8.1-km six-lane road tunnel in Delhi and a 117.7-km access-controlled road in Uttar Pradesh. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने 1 जुलै 2026 रोजी 14,114.81 कोटी रुपये खर्चाच्या दोन महामार्ग पायाभूत सुविधा प्रकल्पांना मंजुरी दिली. या प्रकल्पांमध्ये दिल्लीतील 8.1 किमी लांबीचा सहा-पदरी रस्ता बोगदा आणि उत्तर प्रदेशातील 117.7 किमी लांबीचा ‘ॲक्सेस-कंट्रोल्ड’ (प्रवेश-नियंत्रित) रस्ता यांचा समावेश आहे. |
