Researchers have found pieces of a Mandir-style stone pillar from the 12th century near the banks of the Vena River in Hinganghat town, which is about 70 km from Nagpur in Maharashtra’s Wardha district. On March 1, the Varanasi Municipal Corporation started a big environmental project that got more than 20,000 residents involved. | 3. Micron Technology opened its advanced memory ATMP facility in Sanand, Gujarat, which was a big step forward for India’s plans to become a leader in semiconductors. The plant sent its first finished DRAM module to Dell Technologies. This was the first time the country had done high-end semiconductor assembly and testing. | 4. Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, announced the RailTech Policy and the full digitization of the Railway Claims Tribunal (RCT). This is a big step toward technology-driven government. The Airports Council International (ACI) World has chosen Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) as one of six airports worldwide to receive the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award 2025 in the “Best Airport at Arrivals” category. This is the second year in a row that the airport has won the global award. It also won the arrivals award in 2024. Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) runs the airport. After two Agniveer trainees died from what is thought to be a meningococcal bacterial infection at the Assam Regimental Centre (ARC) in Shillong, the Meghalaya government has issued a public health warning.
