| 7. Uchral Nyam-Osor has been confirmed as Mongolia’s new prime minister by the country’s parliament. This is the third time in nine months that the country’s leadership has changed. His predecessor stepped down because of political deadlock and disagreements within the ruling Mongolian People’s Party (MPP). Uchral got a lot of support from parliament, getting 88 votes out of 107 lawmakers.
