| 1. The United Arab Emirates has made a big step forward in the world’s digital infrastructure by starting the first commercial upper 6GHz (U6GHz) internet network. The initiative was announced at the SAMENA Council Leaders’ Summit 2026 and makes the UAE the first “10 giga” nation. This is a big step forward for next-generation connectivity. | 5. NASA’s Artemis II Mission has set a new record for the farthest distance traveled by people in space. It beat the Apollo 13 milestone from 1970. | 7. On April 8, 2026, Mohsina Kidwai, a long-time member of Congress and former Union minister, died at the age of 94. She died in a Noida hospital after suffering from health problems related to her age. Kidwai was a well-known figure in Indian politics. She was a member of the Indian National Congress for many years and held important organizational and ministerial positions. 8 एप्रिल 2026 रोजी, काँग्रेसच्या ज्येष्ठ नेत्या आणि माजी केंद्रीय मंत्री मोहसिना किदवाई यांचे वयाच्या 94 व्या वर्षी निधन झाले. वयोमानानुसार उद्भवणाऱ्या आरोग्यविषयक समस्यांमुळे नोएडा येथील एका रुग्णालयात त्यांनी अखेरचा श्वास घेतला. किदवाई हे भारतीय राजकारणातील एक सुप्रसिद्ध व्यक्तिमत्त्व होते. त्या अनेक वर्षे ‘भारतीय राष्ट्रीय काँग्रेस’च्या सदस्या होत्या आणि त्यांनी पक्षात तसेच सरकारमध्ये महत्त्वपूर्ण संघटनात्मक व मंत्रिपदांची पदे भूषविली होती. |

Young shooters Palak and Mukesh Nelavalli won the top spot on the podium with a world record score of 487.7.
