1. The recently established East Africa Representative Office of the Export-Import Bank of India (India Exim Bank) in Nairobi, Kenya, opened its doors. This is an element of a strategy to expand its global operation. This initiative aims to enhance India’s trade and commercial relations with East Africa, a region renowned for its abundance of resources and youthful population.

2. The investment in real estate across borders has become increasingly attractive in India. It was among the top five locations in the globe to purchase land and construct a structure by the end of the March quarter. According to a study conducted by Colliers, foreign investors accounted for approximately 55% of these inflows. A distinct preference for properties that are already profitable is evident in the majority of these transactions (73%), which are in assets that are ready to be used.

3. The “Best Conduct of Business Regulator” award for the Asia-Pacific region was recently bestowed upon the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), as reported by The Asian Banker. Mr. Kamlesh Chandra Varshney, a Permanent Member of SEBI, accepted the honour on behalf of the organisation.

This figure surpasses Apple’s $2.99 trillion and is just below Microsoft’s $3.15 trillion. Nvidia is currently the second-largest publicly owned enterprise in the United States. It is the sole company in the world with a market value of $3 trillion, joining Apple and Microsoft. The price of Nvidia stock increased significantly, rising by 5.2% to approximately $1,224.4 per share. This contributed to the S&P 500 and Nasdaq reaching new highs.
