| 4. The Reserve Bank of India’s most recent Weekly Statistical Supplement says that India’s foreign exchange reserves went risen by $1.03 billion to $687.26 billion in the week ending December 5. The growth was mostly due to more gold reserves, even though foreign currency assets fell a little. The total amount of reserves is still close to the all-time high of $704.89 billion that was reached in September 2024. भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेच्या नवीनतम साप्ताहिक सांख्यिकी पुरवणीनुसार, ५ डिसेंबर रोजी संपलेल्या आठवड्यात भारताचा परकीय चलन साठा १.०३ अब्ज डॉलर्सने वाढून ६८७.२६ अब्ज डॉलर्स झाला आहे. परकीय चलन मालमत्तेत थोडी घट झाली असली तरी, ही वाढ प्रामुख्याने सोन्याच्या साठ्यात झालेल्या वाढीमुळे झाली आहे. एकूण साठा अजूनही सप्टेंबर २०२४ मध्ये गाठलेल्या ७०४.८९ अब्ज डॉलर्सच्या आतापर्यंतच्या उच्चांकाच्या जवळ आहे. |
