1. India received a substantial loan of USD 170 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), equivalent to approximately Rs 1,418 crore. The loan aims to enhance India’s healthcare system. 2. The Cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the construction of a new deep-draft port at Vadhavan in Maharashtra. The project, with a budget of ₹76,200 crores, encompasses a wide range of services aimed at bolstering India’s shipping industry.

3. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has recently issued a circular to address gender equality in Indian civil aviation in response to recent events. This project has the goal of ensuring that by 2023, a minimum of 25% of women are employed in various aviation positions.

4. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has broadened the definition of promoters for companies seeking to enter the market through an initial public offering. According to the new guidelines, founders who hold a combined 10% stake and also serve as key managerial personnel (KMP) or directors will now be classified as promoters.

5. According to a recent report by the United Nations (UN), there is growing concern about the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to disseminate false information and promote hate-filled narratives related to World War II atrocities.
Additionally, there is a concern that AI has the potential to generate false or misleading information about the Holocaust, which could contribute to the dangerous propagation of anti-Semitism.

6. According to a statement by NITI Aayog, the government has successfully monetised assets worth Rs 3.85 lakh crore under the National Monetisation Pipeline during the first three years of the financial period from 2021-22 to 2024-25. The NITI Aayog has been given the responsibility to develop the National Monetisation Pipeline.

7. In the UAE’s Siniyah Island, archaeologists have made a significant discovery – the remains of the ancient city of Tu’am. This location, once renowned for its thriving pearl industry, has become shrouded in enigma as its exact whereabouts remain unknown. Excavations in Umm al-Quwain conducted by the Italian Archaeological Mission have uncovered ancient dwellings, further bolstering the argument for Siniyah Island as the true location of Tu’am.
