1. The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe set the ECE standards for helmets. The standard is being used in several countries. For the last 20 years, the ECE 22.05 standard was used.

2. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs launched the MCA21 to speed the access to the services of the ministry.

4. The Hinderburg is a research company conducting financial research in different parts of the world. Hinderburg recently released its research report on the world’s third richest man and his business firm the Adani Group. According to the report, Adani was involved in fraud schemes and stock manipulation.

5. The Government of Bihar planned to create a record of castes and communities residing in the state. For this, the Chief Minister of the State Nitish Kumar launched a survey on January 7, 2023.

6. Around 8.5 lakh migrants returned to their home state, Jharkhand, during the COVID crisis. To help these migrants with a good livelihood, the State Government of Jharkhand started the State and Responsible Migration Initiative in 2021.

8. The IT Rules of 2021 say that Social Media Companies such as Facebook should compulsorily appoint Grievance officers. These officers should be from India. They will oversee the complaints made by social media users.

10. India is lagging behind in the targets to increase the number and quality of tree- and forest-cover plantations set in the National Mission for a Green India (GIM).
