1. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis decided to convene an all-party meeting on the backdrop of ongoing Maratha protest. The party leaders of both the Houses will discuss the issues associated with Maratha reservation.The meeting will be held in Vidhan Sabha.
महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी मराठा निदर्शनाची पार्श्वभूमी असलेल्या सर्वपक्षीय बैठकीचे आयोजन करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. दोन्ही सदस्यांचे पक्षाचे नेते मराठा आरक्षणाशी संबंधित मुद्द्यांवर चर्चा करतील. ही बैठक विधानसभेत होणार आहे.

2. The union government has extended the due date for filing income tax returns for certain taxpayers by one month till 31st August 2018.
केंद्र सरकारने काही करदात्यांसाठी आयकर परतावा दाखल केल्याची तारीख 31 ऑगस्ट 2018 पर्यंत एक महिना वाढवून दिली आहे.

3. Hotel chain OYO has signed a MoU with the State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda for extending its support to budget hotels and creating jobs across levels.
हॉटेल चेन ओयो यांनी स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडिया आणि बँक ऑफ बडोदा यांच्यासह बजेट हॉटेल्सच्या सहाय्याने नोकऱ्या तयार करण्याच्या प्रयत्नांवर सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

4. Subhash Ghai, the famous film producer and director has been appointed as the Chairman of the Media Council in the Media and Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) of Delhi.
प्रसिद्ध चित्रपट निर्माते आणि दिग्दर्शक सुभाष घई यांची दिल्लीच्या मीडिया अँड एंटरटेनमेंट स्कुल कौन्सिल (एमईएससी) मध्ये मीडिया कौन्सिलचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्ती झाली आहे.

5. Raksha Rajya Mantri (RRM) Dr. Subhash Bhamre inaugurated a two-day Air Defence India – 2018 Seminar & Exhibition in New Delhi.
रक्षा राज्य मंत्री (आरआरएम) डॉ. सुभाष भामरे यांनी नवी दिल्लीतील दोन दिवसांच्या एअर डिफेन्स इंडिया – 2018 सेमीनार व प्रदर्शनाचे उद्घाटन केले.

6. Mahesh Kumar Malani of Pakistan People’s Party became the first Hindu to win the National Assembly seat from Tharparkar in southern Sindh province.
पाकिस्तान पीपल्स पार्टीचे महेश कुमार मलानी दक्षिण सिंध प्रांतामधील थरपरकर येथून राष्ट्रीय विधानसभेची जागा जिंकणारे पहिले हिंदू ठरले.

7. Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore was conferred with the D Litt (Honoris Causa) by West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi at a special convocation of Kazi Nazrul University.
बॉलीवूड अभिनेत्री शर्मिला टागोर यांना काझी नजरुल विद्यापीठाच्या विशेष विशेष दीक्षांत समारोहात पश्चिम बंगालचे राज्यपाल केशरी नाथ त्रिपाठी यांनी डी लिट (होनोरिस कौसा) पदवीने सम्मानित केले

8. India’s Hindalco Industries Ltd. announced that it will acquire US-based aluminium producer Aleris Corporation for $2.58 billion through its wholly-owned subsidiary Novelis. This deal will lead to the creation of the second largest aluminium company in the world with $21 billion revenue, and 40,000 employees.
भारताच्या हिंडाल्को इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेडने घोषणा केली की ते आपल्या पूर्ण मालकीच्या सहाय्यक नोवेलिसद्वारे अमेरिकेतील अल्युमिनियम उत्पादक ऍलरिस कॉर्पोरेशनला $ 2.58 बिलियन डॉलर्सचा अधिग्रहण करेल. हा व्यवहार पासून 21 अब्ज डॉलरचे उत्पन्न आणि 40,000 कर्मचारी सह जगातील दुसरी सर्वात मोठी ऍल्युमिनियम कंपनी तयार होईल.

9. The Women’s Hockey World Cup, India lost to Ireland with the goal of 0-1 in their second Pool B match at the Lee Valley Hockey Center in London
महिला हॉकी विश्वकरंडक स्पर्धेत भारताला आयर्लंडविरुद्धच्या दुसऱ्या पूल बी सामन्यात 0-1 ने पराभव स्वीकारावा लागला.

10. World’s Oldest Person, Chiyo Miyako, died at age 117 in Japan.
जगातील सर्वात वयोवृद्ध व्यक्ती, चियो मियाको यांचे, जपानमध्ये 117 व्या वर्षी निधन झाले.
