1. The World Bank has offered $1 billion to the Indian government for a proposed India Covid-19 emergency response and health systems preparedness project.
प्रस्तावित इंडिया कोविड -19 आणीबाणी प्रतिसाद व आरोग्य यंत्रणेच्या सज्जता प्रकल्पासाठी जागतिक बँकेने भारत सरकारला 1 अब्ज डॉलर्सची ऑफर दिली आहे.

2. The Union Home Ministry has granted a special Rs 10-crore fund to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), enabling it to undertake relief works for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालयाने केंद्रीय राखीव पोलिस दलाला (CRPF) दहा कोटी रुपयांचा विशेष निधी मंजूर केला आहे. यामुळे कोरोना पीडित व्यक्तींसाठी मदतकार्य करता येईल.

3. Amidst the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is working on portable ventilators.
देशात कोविड -19 च्या वाढत्या घटनांमध्ये इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी कानपूर पोर्टेबल व्हेंटिलेटरवर काम करत आहे.

4. Amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic BharatPe has partnered with ICICI Lombard to roll out ‘COVID-19 Protection Insurance Cover’ for shopkeepers.
सध्या कार्यरत असलेल्या कोरोनाव्हायरसमुळे भारतपे ने ICICI लोंबार्डबरोबर भागीदारी केली आहे जेणेकरुन दुकानदारांसाठी ‘कोविड-19 संरक्षण विमा संरक्षण’ सादर केले जाईल.

5. The government of India passed “Taxation and Other Laws (Relaxation of Certain Provisions) Ordinance, 2020” on 31 March. The Ordinance will give relief in compliance in filing income tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), customs and central excise returns, to help taxpayers tide over the coronavirus crisis.
भारत सरकारने 31 मार्च रोजी “कर आणि इतर कायदे (काही तरतुदींचे विश्राम) अध्यादेश, 2020″ मंजूर केले. या अध्यादेशामुळे करदात्यांना कोरोनव्हायरसच्या संकटाला सामोरे जाण्यासाठी आयकर, वस्तू व सेवा कर (जीएसटी), सीमाशुल्क आणि केंद्रीय उत्पादन शुल्क परतावा भरण्यास अनुमती देण्यात मदत मिळणार आहे.

6. Maharashtra State government announced a 60% pay cut for all government employees with an aim to financially assist the state in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The decision was made by the Deputy Chief Minister and State Finance Minister Ajit Pawar after consultation with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and various unions of employees.
महाराष्ट्र राज्य सरकारने कोरोनाव्हायरस (साथीचा रोग) साथीच्या आजाराच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर राज्याला आर्थिक सहाय्य करण्याच्या उद्देशाने सर्व सरकारी कर्मचार्‍यांच्या %०% वेतन कपातची घोषणा केली. मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे आणि कर्मचार्‍यांच्या विविध संघटनांशी सल्लामसलत केल्यानंतर उपमुख्यमंत्री आणि राज्याचे अर्थमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी हा निर्णय घेतला.
