1. World AIDS Day is observed on 1 December every year. The day aims to raise public awareness about AIDS. The day aims to motivate the people who are infected by the fatal disease.
जागतिक एड्स दिन दरवर्षी 1 डिसेंबरला पाळला जातो. या दिवसाचे उद्दीष्ट एड्सविषयी जनजागृती करणे आहे. या दिवसाचा उद्देश जीवघेणा आजाराने ग्रस्त असलेल्या लोकांना उत्तेजन देणे आहे.

2. Reliance Industries (RIL) chief Mukesh Ambani ranked as the 9th richest person globally in the Real-Time Billionaires List of Forbes. His net worth was $60 billion. Ambani made it to the daily list of the top 10 richest people in the world because of the increase in the share price of his flagship firm Reliance Industries. Also, he became the first Indian firm to hit the Rs.10 lakh crore market valuation mark.
रिलायन्स इंडस्ट्रीज (आरआयएल) चे प्रमुख मुकेश अंबानी हे रियल टाइम अब्ज अब्जाधीशांच्या फोर्ब्सच्या यादीमध्ये जागतिक स्तरावर 9 वे श्रीमंत व्यक्ती आहेत. त्याची एकूण संपत्ती 60 अब्ज डॉलर्स होती. रिलायन्स इंडस्ट्रीज या प्रमुख कंपनीच्या शेअर किंमतीत वाढ झाल्यामुळे अंबानी यांनी जगातील पहिल्या दहा श्रीमंत व्यक्तींच्या रोजच्या यादीत स्थान मिळवले. तसेच, दहा लाख कोटींच्या बाजार मूल्यांकनाला धक्का देणारी ती पहिली भारतीय कंपनी ठरली.

3. Indian Navy successfully test-fired the 290 km strike range Brahmos supersonic cruise missile. The supersonic cruise missile was test-fired in the Arabian Sea.
भारतीय नौदलाने 290 कि.मी.च्या स्ट्राइक रेंजच्या ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूझ क्षेपणास्त्राची यशस्वी चाचणी केली. अरबी समुद्रात सुपरसोनिक क्रूझ क्षेपणास्त्र चाचणी घेण्यात आली.

4. Maharashtra’s Savitribai Phule Pune University (STPU) and Qatar’s Milestone International Education signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enable the University to set up its campus in Doha.
महाराष्ट्राच्या सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठ (STPU) आणि कतारच्या माईलस्टोन इंटरनॅशनल एज्युकेशन या दोहोंमध्ये विद्यापीठाला आपला परिसर उभारण्यास सक्षम करण्यासाठी सामंजस्य करार (MoU) वर स्वाक्षरी झाली.

5. Tamil Nadu has made it compulsory for students in classes 1 to 9 in government-run schools to attend weekly Spoken English classes.
तामिळनाडूने सरकारी संचालित शाळांमध्ये इयत्ता 1 ते 9 च्या विद्यार्थ्यांना आठवड्यातील स्पोकन इंग्रजी वर्गात जाणे सक्तीचे केले आहे.

6. Jaipur-headquartered CarDekho Group has acquired Philippines-based automobile classifieds site Carmudi.
जयपूरचे मुख्यालय असलेल्या कारदेखो ग्रुपने फिलिपिन्समधील ऑटोमोबाईल क्लासिफाइड साइट कारमुडीचे अधिग्रहण केले आहे.

7. In Madhya Pradesh, the Indian Army has successfully test fired two Spike long-range anti-tank missiles at Mhow.
मध्य प्रदेशात भारतीय सैन्याने महू येथे दोन स्पाइक लांब पल्ल्याच्या अँटी-टँक क्षेपणास्त्रांची यशस्वी चाचणी केली.

8. Thailand has been elected as a member of the World Heritage Committee. It was selected during the 22nd session of the General Assembly of States Parties to the World Heritage Convention in Paris. The representatives from 193 countries cast their votes to fill nine vacant seats on the 21-member World Heritage Committee. With this selection, it will be the fourth time Thailand has served on the World Heritage Committee.
थायलंडची जागतिक वारसा समितीच्या सदस्यपदी निवड झाली आहे. पॅरिसमधील जागतिक वारसा अधिवेशनाच्या राज्य पक्षाच्या महासभेच्या 22 व्या अधिवेशनात याची निवड झाली. 21 सदस्यांच्या जागतिक वारसा समितीवर नऊ रिक्त जागा भरण्यासाठी 13 देशांच्या प्रतिनिधींनी मतदान केले. या निवडीमुळे थायलंडने जागतिक वारसा समितीवर काम करण्याची चौथी वेळ असेल.

9. Barcelona forward Lionel Messi became the first player in the UEFA Champions League to have scored against 34 different clubs.
बार्सिलोनाचा फॉरवर्ड लिओनेल मेसी यूईएफए चॅम्पियन्स लीगमधील पहिला खेळाडू ठरला आहे ज्याने 34 वेगवेगळ्या क्लब विरुद्ध गोल केले आहेत.

10. Australia-based music composer Martin Armiger, who is known for films like ‘Young Einstein’ and ‘Dark City’, passed away at the age of 70 in France.
‘यंग आइन्स्टाइन’ आणि ‘डार्क सिटी’ सारख्या चित्रपटांसाठी प्रसिद्ध असलेल्या ऑस्ट्रेलियामधील संगीतकार मार्टिन आर्मिगर यांचे वयाच्या 70 व्या वर्षी फ्रान्समध्ये निधन झाले.
