1. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will embark on a two-day visit to Nepal today.
परराष्ट्र व्यवहार मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज आज नेपाळला दोन दिवसांच्या दौर्यावर रवाना होणार आहेत.

2. The Indian Navy has launched the third Scorpene class submarine ‘Karanj’. This submarine has been constructed by shipbuilder Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL).
भारतीय नौदलाने स्कॉर्पीन श्रेणीच्या तिसऱ्या पाणबुडी’करंज’ पाणबुडी सुरू केली आहे. या पाणबुडीचे  निर्मिती  माझगांव डॉक शिपबिल्डर्स लिमिटेड (एमडीएल) ने केली आहे.

3. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India signed a $250 million loan to finance the construction of 6,254 kilometers all-weather rural roads in Assam, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal under the Prime Minister’s Rural Roads Programme (PMGSY).
आसाम, छत्तीसगढ, मध्य प्रदेश, ओडिशा आणि पश्चिम बंगालमधील पंतप्रधानांच्या ग्रामीण रस्ते कार्यक्रमांतर्गत (पीएमजीएसवाय) 6254 किलोमीटर सर्व-मध्यम ग्रामीण रस्त्यांचे बांधकाम करण्यासाठी एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँक (एडीबी) आणि भारत सरकार यांनी 250 दशलक्ष अमेरिकन डॉलर कर्ज मंजूर केले.

4. Lt. Gen Anil Chauhan took charge as the new Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the Indian Army.
लेफ्टनंट जनरल अनिल चौहान यांनी भारतीय लष्कराच्या जवानांच्या सैन्यदलाचे महासंचालक (डीजीएमओ) म्हणून पदभार स्वीकारला.

5. Indian-American Adobe CEO, Shantanu Narayen has been elected as the Vice Chairman of the US-India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF).
भारतीय-अमेरिकन अॅडोब सीईओ शांतनु नारायण यांची यूएस-इंडिया स्ट्रेटेजिक एंड पार्टनरशिप फोरमचे  (यूएसआयएसपीएफ) उपाध्यक्ष म्हणून निवड झाली आहे.

6.  The Government of India and World Bank signed a USD 100 million (about Rs 6,400 crore) loan agreement to promote rural economy in selected blocks of Tamil Nadu.
तमिळनाडूच्या निवडक ब्लॉक्सच्या ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्थेला चालना देण्यासाठी भारत सरकार आणि जागतिक बँकेने 100 दशलक्ष डॉलर्स (सुमारे 6,400 कोटी) कर्ज करार केला.

7. Malayalam actor Mohanlal and athlete P. T. Usha were awarded with the honorary Doctorate of Literature (D.Litt) by Kerala Governor and Calicut University Chancellor P. Sathasivam.
मल्याळम अभिनेता मोहनलाल आणि ऍथलीट पी. टी उषा यांना केरळचे राज्यपाल आणि कालिकत विद्यापीठाचे कुलपती पी. सदाशिवम यांनी डॉक्टोरेट ऑफ लिटरेचर (डी लिट) पदवीने सन्मानित केले.

8. The Ministry of Commerce & Industry launched the third version of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM 3.0). The earlier version GeM 2.0 was launched a GeM 2.0 was launched as pilot project in August 2016
वाणिज्य आणि उद्योग मंत्रालयाने सरकारच्या ई-मार्केटप्लेस (जीईएम 3.0) चे तिसरे संस्करण लाँच केले. जीओ 2.0 ची पूर्वीची आवृत्ती जीएम 2.0  ऑगस्ट 2016 मध्ये सुरु करण्यात आली होती.

9.  Sharath Kamal has won the National Men’s Singles Title for the Eighth Time at the 11Even Sports Senior Table Tennis Nationals in Ranchi.
रांचीतील 11 एव्हन स्पोर्ट्स सीनियर टेबल टेनिस नॅशनलमध्ये शरथ कमल यांनी आठव्यांदा राष्ट्रीय पुरुष एकल शीर्षक जिंकले आहे.

10.  Former governor of Chhattisgarh and Tripura, Dinesh Nandan Sahay died. He was 82.
छत्तीसगढ आणि त्रिपुराचे माजी राज्यपाल दिनेश नंदन सहाय यांचे निधन झाले.  ते 82 वर्षांचे होते.
