2. The first commercial direct flight between Israel and the UAE landed in Abu Dhabi after both countries announced normalisation of relations.

6. India’s April-June quarter GDP contracted by a massive 23.9 per cent year-on-year (YoY), the first GDP contraction in more than 40 years.

7. The Gautam Adani-led Adani group has acquired a 74 per cent stake in Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), a joint venture between the Airports Authority of India and GVK Industries.

10. Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India and Bharat Ratna, passed away at 84.Mr. Mukherjee served as 13th President of India from 2012 to 2017.
भारताचे माजी राष्ट्रपती प्रणव मुखर्जी आणि भारतरत्न यांचे 84 व्या वर्षी निधन झाले. मुखर्जी यांनी 2012 ते 2017 या काळात भारताचे 13 वे राष्ट्रपती म्हणून कार्य केले.
