1. Sachin Tendulkar, whose term as Rajya Sabha MP ended recently, has donated his entire salary and allowances to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
सचिन तेंडुलकर यांची राज्यसभा सदस्यता नुकतीच संपली असून, त्यांनी संपूर्ण वेतन व भत्ते पंतप्रधानांच्या मदत निधीला दान केले आहेत.

2. To ensure smoother travelling in trains, Indian Railways will develop more than 200 applications for travellers.
रेल्वेगाड्यांमध्ये सहज प्रवास सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी भारतीय रेल्वे प्रवासीसांठी 200 पेक्षा अधिकऍप्लिकेशन्स विकसित करणार आहे.

3. Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Russia from April 3 to 5th to take part in the VII Moscow Conference on International Security.
इंटरनॅशनल सिक्युरिटी ऑन VII मॉस्को कॉन्फरन्सवर भाग घेण्यासाठी निर्मला सीतारामन 3 ते 5 एप्रिल या कालावधीत रशियाला भेट देणार आहेत.

4. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced it has awarded projects worth Rs 1,22,000 crore for constructing about 7,400 km of highways in 2017-18.
नॅशनल हायवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया (एनएचएआय) ने 2017-18 मध्ये सुमारे 7,400 किमी महामार्गाचे बांधकाम करण्यासाठी 1,22,000 कोटी रुपये किमतीचे प्रकल्प मंजूर केले असल्याची घोषणा केली आहे.

5. China will inaugurate the longest sea bridge in the world this year.The bridge connects Hong Kong and Macau with mainland China. It is 55 km long and six lanes wide. The bridge was built to reduce the journey time to just about an hour long.
चीन यावर्षी जगातील सर्वात लांब पूल ब्रिजचे उद्घाटन करेल.हा पूल हाँगकाँग आणि मकाऊला मुख्य भूप्रदेश चीनशी जोडतो. 55 कि.मी. लांब आणि सहा लेन रुंद आहे. हा पूल फक्त एक तास प्रवासी तास कमी करण्यासाठी बांधण्यात आला.

6. The Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) government is likely to hold panchayat elections in the state after the annual Amarnath pilgrimage this summer.
जम्मू-काश्मीर सरकार उन्हाळ्यात वार्षिक अमरनाथ यात्रेच्या नंतर पंचायत निवडणुका घेण्याची शक्यता आहे.

7. India will play a supportive role in Nepal’s development, Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli said on Sunday. Oli will be on a three-day visit to India from April 6 during which he would hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
भारत नेपाळच्या विकासामध्ये सहायक भूमिका निभावेल, असे पंतप्रधान के. पी. शर्मा ओली यांनी सांगितले. ओली भारताच्या तीन दिवसांच्या दौर्यावर 6 एप्रिलपासून जाणार आहेत ज्या दरम्यान ते पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्याशी चर्चा करतील.

8. Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday night hosted a dinner for 41 prominent people, who will be honoured with Padma awards today.A home ministry official said this was the second time that such a dinner was organised for the Padma awardees by the home minister.
गृह मंत्री राजनाथसिंह रविवारी 41 प्रमुख नागरिकांना रात्रीच्या जेवणाचे आयोजन केले होते, जे आज पद्म पुरस्काराने सन्मानित केले जाणार आहेत. गृहमंत्रालयाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी सांगितले की, ही दुसरी वेळ आहे की, गृहमंत्रालयाने पद्म पुरस्कारासाठी अशा प्रकारचे जेवण आयोजित केले होते.

9. India is now the second largest mobile phone producer in the world after China, as per information shared by the Indian Cellular Association.
इंडियन सेल्युलर असोसिएशनच्या माहितीनुसार भारत आता चीननंतर जगातील दुसऱ्या क्रमांकाचा मोबाइल फोन उत्पादक देश आहे.

10. Nasdaq-listed Ebix Inc is set to acquire India’s leading airport foreign exchange provider Centrum Direct. Atlanta-headquartered software and e-commerce company Ebix has made an offer to buy 100% stake in the foreign exchange business unit of Centrum Group.
नॅस्डॅक लिस्टेड ईबिक्स कंपनी भारतातील आघाडीचे विमानतळ परकीय चलन प्रदाते सेंट्रम डायरेक्ट विकत घेणार आहे. अटलांटा-हेडक्वार्डर्ड सॉफ्टवेअर आणि ई-कॉमर्स कंपनी ईबीक्सने सेंट्रम ग्रुपच्या परकीय चलन व्यवसायातील 100 टक्के भागभांडवल खरेदी करण्याची ऑफर दिली आहे.
