2. International Board on Books for Young People has celebrated International Children’s Book Day (ICBD) on April 2nd every year (IBBY) since 1967.
इंटरनॅशनल बोर्ड ऑन बुक्स फॉर यंग पीपल 1967 पासून दरवर्षी 2 एप्रिल रोजी आंतरराष्ट्रीय बाल पुस्तक दिन (ICBD) साजरा करत आहे (IBBY).

3. Mahesh Verma, the Vice-Chancellor of Indraprastha University, has been named the next chairperson of NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers).
इंद्रप्रस्थ विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू महेश वर्मा यांची NABH (रुग्णालये आणि आरोग्य सेवा प्रदात्यांसाठी राष्ट्रीय मान्यता मंडळ) चे पुढील अध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे.

4. From April 1, 2022, Dr. S Raju has been named Director-General of the Geological Survey of India (GSI).

5. The Union Cabinet, led by PM Narendra Modi, has approved a 3 percent to 34 percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने केंद्र सरकारच्या कर्मचार्‍यांसाठी महागाई भत्ता (DA) आणि पेन्शनधारकांसाठी महागाई सवलत (DR) मध्ये 3 ते 34 टक्के वाढ करण्यास मंजुरी दिली आहे.

6. Joe Biden, the president of the US has signed a law that makes lynching a hate crime in the United States of America. The bill for this was earlier passed by the Senate of the US in March 2022.
अमेरिकेचे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष जो बिडेन यांनी युनायटेड स्टेट्स ऑफ अमेरिकामध्ये लिंचिंगला द्वेषपूर्ण गुन्हा ठरवणाऱ्या कायद्यावर स्वाक्षरी केली आहे. यासाठीचे विधेयक यापूर्वी मार्च 2022 मध्ये अमेरिकेच्या सिनेटने मंजूर केले होते.

7. The Draft National Tourism Policy has been prepared by the Indian Government to focus on digital, and green tourism. This policy has been forwarded to the state governments, industry partners, and other allied ministries for getting their feedback before the policy is sent for approval.

10. To fund the revenue gap for the economy’s revival Rs 8.45 lakh crore has been targeted by the government of India that will be raised through borrowings in the first half of 2022-23.
