1. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman that union government plans to sell a partial stake in LIC through IPO or an initial public offer. The union budget she proposed that the government will sell its stake in IDBI Bank to private investors and also amend the Banking Regulation Act to strengthen co-op banks.
आयपीओद्वारे किंवा आरंभिक सार्वजनिक ऑफरमार्फत एलआयसीमध्ये अर्धवट हिस्सा विकण्याची केंद्र सरकारची योजना आहे, असे अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण यांनी सांगितले. केंद्रीय अर्थसंकल्पात त्यांनी प्रस्तावित केले की सरकार आयडीबीआय बँकेतील आपला हिस्सा खासगी गुंतवणूकदारांना विकेल आणि सहकारी बँका मजबूत करण्यासाठी बँकिंग रेग्युलेशन कायद्यातही बदल करेल.

2. The union government proposes a single exam for all government jobs. In the budget 2020, presented by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the union government intends to introduce major reforms in recruitment to non-gazetted posts in governments and public sector banks.
केंद्र सरकार सर्व सरकारी नोकऱ्यांसाठी एकच परीक्षा प्रस्तावित करते. अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण यांनी सादर केलेल्या अर्थसंकल्प 2020 मध्ये केंद्र सरकार सरकार आणि सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील बँकांमधील राजपत्रित नसलेल्या पदांवर भरतीमध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणात सुधारणा आणण्याचा विचार करीत आहे.

3. Lieutenant General Yogesh Kumar Joshi assumes charge of GOC-in-C, Northern Command in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur.

4. Indian Railways Demands Setting Up Pension Fund To Deal With Rs 50,000 Crore Burden Rs 50,000 crore outgo as pension to more than 15.5 lakh former railway employees, the railways asked the Finance Ministry to set up the pension fund.
भारतीय रेल्वेने 50,000 कोटींपेक्षा जास्त पेन्शन फंडाची स्थापना करण्याची मागणी केली, 15.5 लाखाहून अधिक माजी रेल्वे कर्मचाऱ्यांना पेन्शन म्हणून 50,000 कोटी दिले आहेत., रेल्वेने अर्थ मंत्रालयाला पेन्शन फंड स्थापन करण्यास सांगितले आहे.

5. USA declared a public health emergency over the spread of the coronavirus. US citizens returning from Hubei province, where the outbreak started, will be quarantined for 14 days.
कोरोनाव्हायरसच्या प्रसाराबद्दल यूएसएने सार्वजनिक आरोग्य आणीबाणी जाहीर केली. उद्रेक सुरू झालेल्या हुबेई प्रांतामधून परत येणार्‍या अमेरिकन नागरिकांना 14 दिवस वेगळे ठेवण्यात येणार आहे.

6. Thespian Sanjna Kapoor was awarded the French honour of Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres’ (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) for her outstanding contribution to theatre.

7. As part of the ongoing Indo-Bangladesh defence cooperation, a joint military training exercise SAMPRITI-IX is being conducted at UMROI, Meghalaya, India from 03 Feb to 16 Feb 2020.
सध्या सुरू असलेल्या भारत-बांगलादेश संरक्षण सहकार्याचा एक भाग म्हणून, संयुक्त सैनिकी प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास (SAMPRITI-IX) 03 ते  16 फेब्रुवारी 2020 या कालावधीत भारतच्या मेघालयातील उमरोई येथे आयोजित करण्यात येत आहे.
